Stick with the glock.

Both me and my roomie got a PTR 91 each today before they even hit the shelves of my LGS. Talked the owner down to $1k a pop if we both got one right there. I was scared to blow nearly all my money, but then my credit card company just shrugged and doubled my limit.

How'd we do /k/?

Glock by far. XD guns are pretty shitty.

Glock, hands fucking down. They can actually go through a high round count shooting class and doesn't have a safety feature that can (and it does) break, locking your gun up rendering it useless.

Oh and you can't remove the sights off an XD to save your fucking life. If you like the XD for its grip safety, sell it and buy a Gadget SCD for your Glock.
