Yes, I shot a lot (as in like, 10k) of Wolf Military Classic 62gr. Functioned fine but was horribly horribly inaccurate across a bunch of different rifles.

Guns that would do 1.5-2 MOA with Prvi would be 6-8 MOA with that shit, and my varmint 1:9 upper wasn't even keeping 10 consecutive rounds on a full-size FBI silhouette at 50m.

The upper has basically no effect on overall accuracy unless it's either horribly out of spec or has been trued up by a gunsmith. I haven't seen an upper yet that was less than 0.003" out of true, even things like the OBR and MATEN uppers aren't quite squared off.

The upshot is truing off the face of the receiver is pretty straight forward, and while it's best accomplished with a lathe and a truing mandrel it CAN be done by hand.

For the DIYer there's some lapping kits available that aren't too expensive (or require a lathe), but they require a steady hand and good attention to detail to do right. With a standard carbine buffer and spring it should eject to between 3:00 and 3:30. If it's not, you have an improperly gassed rifle.

A heavier buffer and/or spring are bandaid fixes. A heavier spring has the fringe benefit of providing slightly (and I do mean slightly) more reliable round stripping from dirty/worn/damaged mags or with slightly out of spec or gritty ammo (such as almost all steel cased ammo).

To fix it properly you need to reduce the amount of gas coming back. Since you can't un-drill a barrel (okay you can plug and re-drill it but that's an inelegant fix at best and can go horribly wrong even on an experienced machinist) you're stuck with adjustable gas blocks.
