10 mm Auto thread.
That's... that's all.
Big Rock
Sexual.
In searching for a carbine option for 10mm, I came across this;
Takes grease gun magazines.
MP5/10
The 1006 has been highest on my wishlist for a long time, I saw one at a used gun table at a gun show for 550, but I was too goddamn broke to buy it.
Bit of a resurgence in popularity in this caliber
>>32683860
Maybe Remington should concentrate a bit more on the quality control of their mainstay firearms, instead of looking at new markets
Anyone have opinions on a black 43 (or which ever is the subcompact 10mm?). I'm extremely tempted to make it my cc
>>32684374
Are these worthwhile guns to own? Asking for a friend.
Not really.
>>32684398
All of my information on that is anecdotal.
But, it seems to check out as a decent firearm. But with a polymer frame I would be very hesitant to fire the hotter loads.
Kriss is out in 10mm

I want one so bad.
>>32684403
I haven't heard anything bad about em
>>32684435
I heard the polymer frames do not like 10mm.
The EAA guys all say to stick with 9mm

sorry Wrong one

The Glock 10mm longslide is almost enough to make me give in to buying a Glock.

Had one, sold it off, not enough thrust per squeeze.
Thinking of going .40 super

If there was a Jericho in 10mm would /k/ buy it?
I'm thinking about learning gunsmithing and cnc so I can build 10mm pistols and pistol caliber carbines
not nearly enough cool stuff in 10mm
>>32684591
If only S&W would bring that back. 2 grand seems a bit steep for used.
Not even the 1006's are going for that much.
Vltor is bringing back the Bren Ten in their Fortis pistol this year, I'm hoping we see more diversity in the 10mm pistol and carbine market in the future.
>>32684653
>>32684648
Read this article, all but the Glock were stupid expensive.
>>32684634
my only beef with the Jericho or the CZ line is the minimal purchase on the slides for racking it. Needs like, the charging ridges the VP9 has.
Small beef though.
>>32684653
Forgot my picture. Here's the Bren Ten and the Vltor Fortis

Sonny's gun was a .45.
the axis of the bore looks So high... I want to shoot one!
>>32684605
I'm 11 years old and what is this
>>32684616
What do you mean? 10mm wasn't doing it for you? How was the pistol itself?
>>32684719
Both are Bren 10's
Sonny's Backup was a Detonics .45
>>32684719
This is weak bait, his Bren Ten was chambered in 10mm.
I think he actually had a S&W in the first few episodes...
>>32684734
Glock 40
So pretty good.
Just wanted something a bit more.
>>32684759
Later seasons he had a S&W 4506
>>32684746
>>32684754
No. It's a fact that the Bren Ten was also offered in .45 and there were also .45 conversion kits that existed for the gun. For the TV show, two guns were made so that they could cycle .45 blanks.
http://www.imfdb.org/wiki/Miami_Vice_-_Season_1#Dornaus_.26_Dixon_Bren_Ten
>All external markings were standard Bren Ten. The only difference being that the guns had recoil springs and barrels designed to fire .45 ACP blanks. The barrel does not carry any caliber designation roll mark however. Because the ejection port on a Bren Ten is so large I don't believe that it had to be enlarged to accommodate the elongated .45 ACP blank cases
Here's a video where a guy shoots both a 10mm and a .45 version.

>>32684799
Oh okay. I thought you were referring to the S&W 1006.
Would love to get a carbine to round out the reasons to reload 10mm.
>>32684605

>>32684403
I have one and it's my favorite pistol to shoot. I'm starting to think there are reliability concerns with it though because I had a mag fall out when shooting some doubletap. Also the slide lock starts working itself out a little. It's a very accurate gun and very nice ergonomics but I still need to test to see if it's user error or what.
>>32683830
10mm best mm
>>32683957
would have been worth to try to borrow some to flip it
>>32685172
Do you know what year it was made?
Do you use stock recoil spring?
I had heard that stronger recoil springs had alleviated some of the reliability issues. But Without owning one, I couldn't say for sure.
>>32685224
You're probably right: this was about 5-6 years ago, and I had hoped that that price was the norm, and would remain so. But no luck.
I would have kept it could I have afforded it desu.
>>32685172
I'm sending mine back to EAA now because the mags drop out after every shot.
They're are charging me $20 to ship it. I have 4 factory mags and have put 50 rounds through it.
The trigger is fucking tits though.
>>32684403
I didn't have it in 10mm, but had a Witness Elite Match in .45 ACP and .22 LR. The ergonomics on that pistol were almost sexual. I used it in league for several years, also tried switching up with a 1911 and a Glock 21. Consistently shot much better with the Tang. After I stopped shooting league for a while I traded it for an AR. Should have kept it.
I sold my Glock 40 because I couldn't afford to regularly plink with 10mm on a college student's budget.
>>32685251
hey, there could have been something wrong with. best not to dwell on it
>>32684602
It's cool, but it's as Glock grip as Glocks get. My medium sized hands don't like full sized Glocks.
Its a wonderful gun.
>>32684632
What is the verdict on current production Delta Elite? I feel the need for both a 10mm, and a firearm that isn't all black.
>>32685139
>>32685373
My buddy just got one. It's awesome to shoot, like holding a cannon and firing at something 80 yards away.
>>32685227
I'll have to check on the year but I put a 20lb spring in it. I bought the gun like 2 years ago so it should be fairly new.
>>32685295
I love the trigger but I've put well over 1000 through mine. It's very rarely that the mag issue happens but I happened to be in a tree when a group of hogs showed up, and I missed a follow up shot because the mag was about 3/8" out of the gun.
Iver Johnson makes the Eagle XL in 10mm, but I hear that their warranty leaves something to be desired (5 year?)
.40 S&W/10mm with full moon clips.
This is my Navy SEAL 10mm. You can tell cuz the anchor.
LifeSizePotato converted a USP to 10mm.
Used a USP40, Love the idea, but would prefer HK do it from the factory.

He carried a P220 in the pilot episode and then the Bren Ten .45 for the rest of the first two seasons. When D&D went under, the decision was made to have the character switch to a S&W 645 for the third season which was carried over into the fourth season. In the final season he had the S&W 4506.
>>32685536
Sounds amazing
Do you know what he had to change?
>>32685636
I've shot a lot of PMC 180 grain FMJ through it, which is a pretty soft load. Other than that, just Hornady 180 grain XTP and various .40 cal. Feeds and shoots .40 with no problems.

>>32685734
Glock will run .40 S&W through a 10mm platform?
>>32685703
If you get really good at sucking dick, maybe you can!
>>32685769
It will, it's not recommended to do so. I'n my opinion it causes risk to the lip of the breech, but I'm no gunsmith.
Either way yes 40 will straight up shoot out of your 10mm, similar to 2 3/'4" and 3"
>>32685769
Yes. It's not something I'd want to do defensively, but if you don't roll your own it certainly makes trips to the range a lot less expensive.

You're wasting your money on a more rare round that requires a special gun to shoot (that will blow up if you shoot +P in many cases) when you could just get a .40 that has pretty much the same ballistic performance for less cost and more commonality. Look at tests, the exit wound is barely any bigger to the point it's almost unnoticeable. Just get .40 +P and it's literally the same performance as 10mm.
It's a literal meme round. I'm sorry you were tricked.

the extractor holds the cartridge in place in the glock design. so in a way, yes, it does headspace off of the extractor.
>>32687950
Any specific spring force?
>>32688137
whatever Wollf sells for extra power springs
