So /k/, what happens when you fire a bullet from a gun into the barrel of another gun which also has a bullet in it? Will the gun getting shot into explode due to the gunpowder? Asking because I know literally next to nothing about guns.

Someone tried it, can't recall where I saw it. If I remember the bullet will not travel down the other barrel and just flattens against the muzzle. Could be wrong, google it and I bet you can find a video.

it's called docking
look it up
I've started warming up to revolvers, but I absolutely hate how short barrel revolvers look.

I love how they look

There's fun for everyone out there I guess. Whenever I see one I associate it with those 70s and 80s cops in action movies who stand in that nerdy looking Isosceles stance, yeah I'm sure they're both actually effective but goddamn they look retarded in movies.

Alright.
I hate Toby Keith so goddamn much.

The"gun being shot into" will not explode, as the primer will be unaffected. No primer detonating means no powder burning.

Is correct in terms of real world results.

OK thanks for telling us
Wouldnt you be producing somehtign similar to a squib in the other gun? So the next time its fired it goes boom?

Kinda this, except in the one instance I've seen, it pushed the gun out of battery and squibbed the barrel.

Assuming the bullet entering the barrel of the second gun creates a seal, and somehow gets the powder in the cartridge to ignite, you could get a catastrophic failure as the gas has nowhere to vent.
