Suppressor height sights. They're taller that standard sights, for use with a suppressor. When used in a setup like OPs pic, they usually cowitness with a RMR.

It was make as a joke at first by a guy in the Army AWG but then it turned into a real thing. He goes by the fake name Roland Deschain. You can find a lot of his posts on Primary & Secondary.

The idea behind the Roland Special was the guy had a X300 on his Glock 19, he then tried a KKM brake on it because the X300 already gave it longer length anyways. Again, the whole premise behind the creation of the Roland Special was a joke.

If you are shooting beyond 25 yards, you should be using a long gun. If you are shooting inside of 25 yards, you can get equivalent results with irons. Most of the problems people have with their pistol technique has nothing to do with their sights being inadequate and everything to do with mistakes in stance, grip, breathing, trigger control, etc

sans the comp I'm OK with it. carrying a G19+x300 sounds nice on paper but is too impractical IRL; tried it, sucks ass. For EDC I'm saving up to get my G26 milled and fitted with an RMR. Fucking Glock juice don't make an MOS G26 for some reason... could only get more esthetic if poly80 released a G26 frame with a regular trigger guard but with the same smooth surface of their G19.

Grip plugs don't do anything. They are for guys who like butt plugs and got themselves a gun butt plug. If they are large enough they actually mess up how the frame moves under recoil and cause a tiny fraction more recoil.
