Yeah but when it comes to guns, a lot of makers are more subtle about their branding.
Look at this Ruger 1911, they just laser engraved their emblem next to the ejection port.

They called the Jericho the "Baby Eagle" when importing/manufacturing it, couldn't they have called it the "American Eagle" (well, I guess that's an ammo brand already), or even the "1911 Eagle", or even ".45 Eagle" ?

Literally the "better" a 1911 is, the less the manufacture puts on the slide.

What about the Springfield TRP? It has "Springfield Armory" with their logo huge on the slide, along with the other side just says "OPERATOR .45", says "Tactical" on the rails, and TRP by the serrations.

That is pretty fucking basic and not "YUGE FUCKING LOOK AT ME BILLBOARD" when compared to what OP has posted. Sure it is across the slide, but it is subtle.

Springfields have pretty big billboards but they at least use a tasteful font that makes it not stick out
