AR's restricted in my state. Is mossberg a meme?

Reported poor quality. Has a bolt hold open if you're autistic and care about that. Pretty neat otherwise. I'd rather get a Ruger American or Savage Axis in .308.

Gotta agree with this guy OP. It's a neat concept that I really want to like, but it's still a mossman. There's more solid/reliable options out there for the money.

the only thing I've heard is they have a rattly bolt when open
Do you have sources for these claims?

I am autistic and want the iron sights, and bolt hold open so I can handload.

there's a new scout rifle they came out with
has irons and a rail that runs from over the receiver to in front of the chamber section so you can use either type of scope

I like my .308 Scout. Solid rifle.

Steyr, Ruger, Mossberg, Savage what
>>32672158
Mossberg did? Does it take ar mags
>>32671853
Avoid it
You can get a rem 700 adl youth model for 400$. Its a great starter for the price and eventually you can change the stock out, which is what makes it an adl youth model as opposed to regular variations.
If you have the money get a winchester 70. Sooooo buttery smooth.

Mossberg, as in the rifle this thread is about.

Neither of those guns have any of the things op asked for and there are better budget bolt action rifles for less money.
Savage hog hunter is a decent starter option. Iron sights medium contour barrel threaded just no removable mag
>>32671853
get a savage model 11 instead
Buy this instead http://www.legacysports.com/catalog/howa/howa-scout-rifle/
