Why can't our special soldiers have a similar suit like this?
>>32666064
/pol/ Nice try though.
>>32666090
I am not saying it needs a Swastika, but power armour like this, it's 2017!
>>32666064
In what way would that enhance a soldier current capability?
minus the weapon, i know it can be replicated. why haven't we done something similar? is it liberals who think the goggles are too triggering?
>>32666112
Personally I would love it if our troops started wearing swastika armbands
>>32666147
There has to be a reason for that.
Power supply/mobility loss
>>32666147
because it's a dumbass idea to have bigass glowing shit on your face after dark
>>32666364
>Personally I would love it if our troops started wearing fascist symbolism
I am never not amazed by how un-American /pol/ is.
>>32666740
I am never not amazed by how anti-white /k/ is.
>>32666147
Too fucking heavy.
>>32668012
anti-pol=/=anti-white
>>32668335
>>32666064
That looks impractical as fuck. Also whats the point of shinny metal caps on boots.
>>32668352
>>32666364
What? That`s absurd, that would never work
>>32666064
Completely impractical, heavy and made of steel. Modern armours are lighter and more efficient.

[X] 'You're anti-white/white genocider!'
[X] 'nice try, Ebil Jew'
[ ] 'CuckCuckCuck!!'
[ ] 'lmao u mad u triggered shitskin/DNC shill/etc. liberal caricature'
Someone with a basic knowledge of Python or Perl or something could probably make a chatbot that perfectly imitates /pol/ posters. It's all the same rote responses anyhow.

>Someone with a basic knowledge of Python or Perl or something could probably make a chatbot
Oh fuck no, that Israeli one that spammed loxist slogans with pics with Hebrew filenames was bad enough.
I still get angry thinking about that one.
There's a wide gap in the practicality between light weight and mobile armor vs. heavy armor.
The best we can do now is lightweight stuff that covers your vitals and doesn't do too much else. Anything above that and you're too heavy to be functional.
Either there's a jump in powered exoskeletons technology and you have bullet proof walking tank soldiers, or there's a jump in armor technology that stays light and flexible while being protective and practical to cover the rest of your body with.
>>32666064
>tow bar on the chestplate
what's the utility of this cosmetic feature again?
>>32668523
By the time a functional exoskeleton design and power source are developed, it'd be better suited to put on robots for things like EOD, search and rescue, etc. Giving a soldier a suit would only help them carry more armor/a bigger gun which is kind of useless since we can outpace whatever ordinance they'd carry with vehicles and artillery - all logistically cheaper and easier to maintain.
Bring out a suit with extreme mobile capability like that grapple CoD suit or Starship Troopers jump jets and you have a different story.

I just started writing one in Python.
