If you want a P210, save up for a genuine one. Not even the ones made by Sig Sauer in germany are as good as the originals.

Yes, it has tremendous built quality and accuracy FOR THE TIME IT WAS BUILT. But nowadays it's just a relic of the past that fudds in Switzerland love to use for sports shooting because "muh made in Swissland".

The original P210 wasn't designed for any sort of competition.

It was the standard pistol of the Swiss army (and also Danish army I think) along with certain police forces around the world.

The thing is, the gun is very accurate and well made (shit, some of it was hand machined with such a precision that when you insert the slide it feels as if it gets "sucked").

People use it for pistol shooting at 50 meters in Switzerland, because it's widely available for as low as 900 Swiss Francs and because you can't get wrong with one unless it's abused as fuck.

The thing is it totally depends on the person shooting the gun, just like any other weapon.

It´s extremly accurate, even by todays standards. People winning with Glocks doesn´t suprise me, the SIG is often bought by assholes who barely shot their guns but still think they´re hot shit.
But i´d wager that an experienced shooter will shoot better with a 210 than with a Glock.

Heel mag release is kinda stupid, the low cap doesn´t really bother me. I don´t know where you heard the stuff about lubing though. I shot 2500-3000 rounds through my 210-6 and I never had a single hiccup.

The thing that really brings the thing down is the hammer bite. I don´t know what the hell they were smoking when designing the beavertail on that gun. When I first started shooting, the whole hammer was covered in blood. Luckily, there are extended beavertails you can buy.

My old P210 in 7.62 Para had to be so lubed that it rained oil when I shot. Or else I would have trouble with feeding the gun.
