no it is designed to be pulled apart lmao, the way the expansion chamber works is the bolt carrier is thrust backwards away from the bolt and it unlocks by camming action and the forward pressure on the bolt doesn't really matter

the problem with a pump is the ar is so customizable that whatever you design wont be compatible with certain barrel profiles or handguards. its a fuckload easier for someone looking for a manually operated ar to pull the gastube plug the gasblock then use it like a straightpull with the charging handle.
