How likely is national reciprocity going to pass?
Get arrested in another state and appeal all the way to the Supreme Court under the "full faith and credit" clause of the United States Constitution.
Pretty sure it's just fixing that if X amount of states have the same/similar carry laws, then carrying in the other states with your home state card is valid. It's not going to be national.
Pretty sure Trump's son is going to get it passed
It will never pass. Trump's 4 years will be a tiny bump in gun rights and general freedom before we take the ultimate plunge into absolute Third World.
The 2nd Amendment will be dead in 6 years.

Republican majority in both houses, a pro gun president with a pro gun cabinet, brownies stirring up shit
This is the perfect storm for getting our rights back. Why be a sad sack and give up before it even starts?

I m genuinely curious how many extremists actually unironically believe this.

You fags are in for a huge awakening, we are gonna get some major wins in the next few years
How many states have gotten Constitutional carry in the past 8 years under Ofaggot? Like 6 or 8?
Expect more than that under Trump
Look at this: http://dailycaller.com/2017/01/12/new-bill-aims-to-eliminate-scandal-ridden-bureau-of-alcohol-tobacco-firearms-and-explosives/
I guarantee one of the following: National reciprocity, significant NFA changes, or significant import ban changes
Trump may not be perfect but the last time we had a Republican Prez & Congress the gun advocate community wasn't so big and guns weren't so popular in general

>High likelihood:
-Conservative SCOTUS replacement for Scalia
>Fair chances:
-Conservative SCOTUS replacements for one or more other elderly Justices
-Legislation that broadens concealed-carry reciprocity, even if it requires some sort of bizarre carry method while carrying in May Issue states, like unloaded carry (no round in the chamber)
>About 50-50 chances:
-Hearing Protection Act passes, removing silencers from the NFA registry
-Gift to Democrats: comprehensive background checks bill (even if it's a poison pill provision to the HPA and Trump vetoes the whole bill as a result)
>Less than 50% chances:
-Removal of other gun types from the NFA, such as SBRs and maybe SBSs and AOWs
-Real concealed carry reciprocity across all states (although citizens of May Issue states may still be unable to carry in their own state until their state becomes Shall Issue)
-Gift to Democrats: No Fly List makes you a Prohibited Person
>Highly unlikely, but certainly possible:
-Repeal of Hughes Amendment
-National carry permit issued by the FBI and valid in all states
-National uniformity of self-defense laws with good provisions (i.e., national stand your ground, national castle doctrine)
>Not a snowball's chance in Hell:
-Elimination of the NFA altogether

>Legislation that broadens concealed-carry reciprocity
A national reciprocity bill has been introduced
Included in the definition of "handgun" is also the magazine in the firearm and the ammunition in the magazine, so all the states with ammo and mag restrictions can actually go fuck themselves if it passes

All bills are subject to change.
