What TV shows are /k/ approved? Just finished Stranger Things, watching Hopper opr8 was pretty fun.
24
Strike Back
Boardwalk Empire
True Detective (both seasons though 1 is on a different level)
Miami Vice
Generation Kill

The monster being staggered by the kid's .38 but not by the soldiers mag dumping 9mm kind of rustled my jimmies, but otherwise a good show.

Strike Back is 101% operator. Fuck i miss that show. One of the few shows i would watch as soon is it aired.

The Unit

>Boardwalk Empire
Oh god all those pocket pistols
>>32651015
Even though much of Boardwalk Empire was about the inner workings of the booze smuggling politics; it is /k/ as fuck. Jimmy and Richard Harrow are such a great team, and yeah there's plenty of guns and brutal realistic shootings but the pocket pistols and lesser known older handguns steal the show entirely.
I miss it bros. It had its flaws and fizzled out a bit by the end but damned if it wasn't great when it was great. Entirely worth watching, 9/10 easily.

Archer

fucking this man, shit is too good. The Pacific and Band of Brothers are pretty good as well
Switch gears a bit and recommend just a few /k/ films as well?
>The Way of The Gun (probably the best of all, even moreso than Heat which gets mentioned every time so I'm not going to bother. People underestimate just how good this film is all the time, it's crazy to me.)
>No Country for Old Men (maybe that one Remington shotgun didn't exist when this took place according to some headstone at the very end of the story, but it was damn close. /k/ as absolute fuck and maybe one of the most technically proficient films ever made? Keep an ear out for this one's soundtrack while you're watching.)
>Sicario (/pol/ and /k/ combined into a great film about the war on the American-Mexican border with approximately 2 very memorable shootouts)
>Collateral
>Heat
>Thief
>Public Enemies
>The Hunted (great underrated film by based William Friedkin, focuses 100% on knives and knife fighting)
There's other shit I would mention but since I'm a dual /tv/-/k/ major I simply cannot recommend a bad movie even if it is /k/ related. Half the fun is finding the shit yourself so godspeed.

Man From Nowhere, A Company Man, Cobra, John Wick, Falling Down, Rampage, God Bless America

when it comes to what is considered /k/ movies, should the criteria be films that display firearms and tactics in a realistic way or films that display firearms as fun and interesting items like some action movies do? if the latter is correct would popular film series like the Terminator, Die Hard, Dollars, and Lethal Weapon be /k/ approved in addition to the ones listed? they would imo

Falling down is GOAT

Very good show, one of my favourites is a scene where a WW1 sniper(Harrow) who lost half his face clears a house.

>No Hard-Boiled
Sure, it's not Tier-One realistic operating but it's got endless style and Mad Dog is the reason that I will never be satisfied until I own one of the classic-style CenterArms Contenders in .223

That browning auto 5 making a pump sound every time he raises it triggers my autism so much its ruined the scene for me
>>32652231
my great grand uncles first production A5 rattled like that. its not a pump shotty noise, it the mechanism rattling.

>God Bless America
Bretty good
it's not really /k/ related but the show Black Mirror is fucking amazing. Every episode is a different sci-fi dystopia that could be 15-20 years down the road from where we are now. Great production, very bleak and mind-fucky. The episode Men Against Fire is pretty /k/.
