Not to be a douche, but what's the point of owning something like PPs, when all its desirable features (short barrel, folding stock) are no longer usable?

Nailed it. Wilkinson terry carbine. Brother of the linda. I'm excited about them being reborn. Mags are $25 instead of $105

I understand what you mean. But I took mine out today with 5 other rifles. It was the easiest and most pleasant to shoot. It absolutely shouldn't be the only gun you own but after a pistol a rifle and a shotgun you need a pcc. You will love it.
>>
>>32648008
Thanks for the non-mad reply, m8. I really do love PCC's, that's why I asked. I love the look of the PPs and suomi, but it just breaks my heart that I'd have to get one with the possibility of having the stock locked in place.

Did you get that wood stock for the PPs custom-made or does someone sell them? It's aesthetic af.

I've got a Sten parts kit I still need to build and haven't stopped waffling over getting a SBR stamp for it or not. Would you say it's worth it?

It was a pistol that was imported then the barrel was extended and the stock was a bit custom because it was a folder but the Polish did a bunch of wooden pps43s to try and accurize them. I have a folder in the closet I can work on later but I love the full stock

Mines a sterling. I don't talk about my sten. It's a sterling in Tokarev with 2 converted straight back sten mags. I have the 9mm barrel and mags but I have sooooo much tokarev back from when it was cheap.
Sten is great but....build it.

Yeh I recognize a Stormtrooper blaster when I see it, I was mostly wondering if the awkwardly long barrels were something that could grow on you.

I have a hard time justifying a tax stamp that costs 3x the price of the parts kit for a Sten, so I'll probably just go for a 16" barrel.

I guess at least one of the C96's count. If all goes well, I'll be adding another 9mm with a stock to the collection in the next couple months.

As the op I'd say 5 are as the calico should be one too. Trigger is more of an on off switch than a trigger

>I have a hard time justifying a tax stamp that costs 3x the price of the parts kit for a Sten,

Sten kits seem to sitting around $140-180 these days. They aren't the cheapest on the market anymore, that goes to the Sa vz. 26, with the PPS-43 being a close second.
>>
>>32649398
I prefer the MPX to the MP5 simply because it locks back on the last round and shares AR parts and features. Mine even has a 3 lug mount.

>>32649410
Not bad but good luck finding one available without being raped by someone thinking they're sitting on gold. Trigger could be better but over all not a horrible gun.

I want to see it look like that and not what they are importing. I'd rock one in a heart beat if the aftermarket would provide those parts

I think....it's been a while..... $675 without mag. At the time mags were not available but I had a line on one. Gun only had one mag until last year when they remade them. Now I have 3 mags

Should I get a Colt 6951?

Also, redpill me on 3-lug mounts; they're cool and seem more convenient than direct-thread mounting, but are baffle strikes a concern?
>>
just got my first PCC, a cz evo carbine. i was terribly bored with ARs, so i didnt want a 9mm one, the beretta storm was a contender, but what really got me with the cz was the aftermarket support is has even though its relatively new.
plus i had never handled a storm before so i dont know if id enjoy it.
i like the evo, a new safety is a must buy though. the factory is annoying. CH is a bit small also but usable.

Disregard 3lug mounts unless you are sharing a suppressor with something that uses them. There are better attachment methods
>>
>>32649972
>Don't keep your mags loaded
the ones made in 2015 were the bad ones. theyve updated the design, all of mine are the new design with a thicker feedlip area, but time will tell how well these work.
manticore arms has metal feedlip mags coming out in febuary/march, im pretty happy about that. and it goes back to what i was saying about the quick aftermarket

I'm not convinced that anyone besides YHM makes a QD mount for a 9mm silencer.
>>
>>32647856
Heh, that's a coincidence. I just shot my new PCC today for the first time as well.

Of course mine's not really worth bragging about. Hipoint 995TS. Still, it was fun and accurate. Had some issues chambering the first round of each mag, but I think it just needs to be broken in.
>>
>>32650607
>Hipoint 995TS

One day I'll learn to forget what people say and buy one.
>>
>>32650697
You probably should. If you want an incredibly fun plinker and decent HD gun for $300, I can't think of a better choice.
>>
>>32650697
that was also under consideration for me. it looks terrible but im sure it works well and lifetime warranty. add on the fact that its only $300 or less and its a decent buy.
i still kind of want one, id probably get this stock for it too

Those stocks are made for the original Hi Point carbine. If you try to fit in the stock with 995TS, you would need to do some minor modifications to get the stock to fit. Some guy on youtube managed to do it.
