In seriousness, we don't hate CZ. Its just that we don't recommend it, CZ is only loved by CZ purist and GSCfags. We are not knocking them, they are just not recommended for people who is just looking for a plain defensive easily repairable gun.

Yes there is. It's like $200 overpriced because you get terrible machining and a shit finish. Turks are making clones cheaper , machined better, and with better finish options for substantially less.

Hey don't you have a sp01? Gold grips? You ever replace the plastic guide rod with a metal one? Any difference in felt recoil? I once asked you about the gold grips and I'm glad you told me to get the thin ones, It is a great shooting gun for my friendly 3gun stuff.

I changed the guide rod on my 1911 after buggering the spring and needing the drill out the original plunger. It was hilarious. Anyways the weight change was huge on the recoil and made it a better gun imo.

I used to own a CZ. It was an OK gun but nothing particularly impressive about it. Pretty disappointing considering how much people on /k/ hype them up.

I love my CZ rifles as well. The 452 no longer has a scope and bubba cheek, but the 527 has a great 3-9 on it now and it made it a whole new gun.

I met a guy with 3 tours on afghanistan, uses CZ 75 as sidearm.

He prefered that one to the USP compact but he said that was simply personal preference.

I rented a 75B last week at the range. Fucking awesome gun, definitely wanna pick one up now. But my primary handgun right now is a Taurus PT111, and the trigger on that thing makes anything remotely nice seem awesome

Love my 75, been trying to find a Rami as a carry piece but so far no luck. Haven't even found one to look at, one of those unicorn guns for me. If I ever spot one I'm going to snap it up without a doubt.

I like CZ.

I want to order some walnut grips for my 75, but I've heard they tend to require hand fitting. Have you guys ordered the grips? If so, where did you order from and did they require any hand fitting or was it just screw in and go?

The ONLY downside to CZ handguns is that the internal finishing can be somewhat inconsistant. It won't rust, but it looks a bit rough when you take it apart.

My P-01 is my favorite pistol. It has THE tightest lockup of slide to frame I've felt on any firearm that hasn't been worked on by a gunsmith. Boohoo, a little finish you won't even SEE is a bit ugly, but that is how they make such a good firearm for $600

People bitch about a few things

1. Machining
The early models had garbage finishes, new ones are far better.
Only marks are on non critical areas.

2. Coatings come off!
Again, it was an issue like 10 years ago.
Modern CZs don't have that issue

3. The trigger is shit
The trigger is average
It does do anything particularly good or bad.
It's just normal.

CZs are fine firearms, often hated by Glock and SIG's fags.

That being said, I'm saving up for a Sphinx.
