One was the sidearm of the US Army one is becoming the sidearm of the Army.

>lightweight polymer
>Actually made in the US (unlike most 1911's in Glock pricepoint)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glock#Production_in_other_countries
>Literally who cares what others think about your gun purchasing decisions
>Higher magazine capacity is for high test people who like to piss of beta libshits
>Honda Civics are reliable as fuck and there's literally nothing wrong with them
I know this is a b8 thread and I'm autistic for taking it seriously.

The Smith & Wesson 5906 is better than both.
>all steel so recoil is soft and you can safely bash someone's head in with it and not worry
>new high quality MecGar mags allow for 17+1rds of 9mm Luger
>DA/SA so you don't even need a manual or trigger safety
>stronger design than 1911
I am better than you, OP.

Sorry milord.

Glocks are fucking BORING
They are so fucking generic and boring that you have to be a slug in human form to use them. I honestly don't want to be near people who own glocks, they make me wanna take a fucking nap with how fucking sluggish and boring and normal and lame they are.
>>32642326
Yeah, and scrawny niggs show them off to prove how much of a "gangsta" they are. It's fucking annoying.

>Smith Turd Gen
Please don't start this
>>32642443
They're excellent.
>>32642054
Agreed 100%
I dont give a fuck what what anyone thinks. My glocks are all much more reliable than my 1911s and everyone I know who has a glock and a 1911 will say the same.
Even Springers use forged frames made in Brazil, same as Taurus 1911s.

>fullframe pistol

>wobbly barrel glock with retarded rifling and malnourished austrian babyfinger controls

You sound like women

I sold mine and purchased a 1911. I have never had a malfunction of any kind with either honestly. I do prefer the 1911 though. What issues were you having with yours?

If only... If only...

I too buy novelty firearms because of anime
Bought a cz75b because of gunsmith cats, bought a galil sporter because of upotte and I'm fixing to buy a ps90 sbr project because of gunslinger girl
But in reply to the OP bait, a glock can do these better than a 1911:
>weigh less
>hold more ammo (which is never a bad thing)
>cycle all hollow points and ammunition without needing special work or a $2k gun (inb4 hurr muh 400 dollar pt1911 nevah jams with the tulammo I shoot exclusively)
>compacts are more reliable than officer sized 1911s
>parts are basically drop in as opposed to having 90 different brands and manufactures
>magazines are much more consistent
>no safety to fuck with
>>32641877
>caring what people think of your gun
>open carrying
Confirmed for peak autist.

You mustve gotten lucky. Any problems ive had, or anyone else for that matter, usually come from FTF using hollow points. And they are not just the "cheap" brands either. Granted the failures arent a constant problem, just one here and there but for me thats enough to not rely solely on it for SD purposes. Not to mentions how picky 1911s are with magazines. Mags that ive had problems with, others have had nothing bad to say about, and vice versa.
