I keep a few thousand rounds of m855 for that. I like to make a thin cut about 4-5 milimeters from the tip at about a 45 degree angle not more than 1/4 the way around the bullet. It greatly improves tumbling especially out of short barrels and makes a screeching wistling sound as they wiz by. There useless past 300 -350 yards tho, as the start to destabilize and keyhole.
