Looking to get my first CC gun as I turn 21 in 3 months. Imma terrible shot with semi automatics for some reason but can put 2-3" groups with revolvers at 25yrds all day with zero issues. Im trying to find a decent sized 6 shot 357 or 38 spl revolver (hammer is preferred). The only ones that I've found that are not 60yrs old or gigantic are the Chiappa Rhino 20ds and the Kimber .357 hamerless (pic related)

Wrong board, oops
>>
>>32637319
The fact you think a revolver and a "semi-automatic" are two different types of guns leads me to believe you don't have a proper enough understanding of firearms to own one. Lurk /k/ for a while and try again.
>>
>revolver
Get an autoloader like anyone with sense.

>>32637324
>this is bait
>>
>>32637325
I'd rather have 6 rounds and put 5 on target then 15 rounds in which i can only put 2-3 on target.
>>
>>32637368
2-3" groups at 25 yards is really good, but you can't hit shit with a striker? What are you using, a stock glock trigger?
>>
>>32637319
carry the gun you apparently are shooting 2-3" groups all day with, duh.
>>
>>32637319
If you really like the Rhino and the K6S, carry one. They'll work.

dude is apparently a human bench rest.

But doesn't own a pistol.

Just switched from my XDS 4" 9mm to 4"pic related. 6 of .357 vs 7 or 8 rounds of 9mm, or god forbid -5- rounds of .45 is a pretty good deal. And the recoil is less than my 9mm, even on part with my .22 pistol

I've got a snub nose Ruger Security Six. It's got the 2 inch barrel, hammer fired and quite a bit smaller than a lot of the newer magnum frame offerings. Got it for $200, couldn't pass it up. Great little gun.

Isn't it common to shoot 2-3" groups at 25 yards with your favorite pistol? You just get comfortable with it.
>>
>>32638115
He's getting that grouping with single action on the revolver, probably with a 4” or a 6” barrel, plus internet exaggeration so his grouping is probably closer to 4” or 5". Not that hard to do.
>>
>>32639386
>or god forbid -5- rounds of .45
>he doesn't know how to +1
>>
There's no fucking way you group 2 inches at 25 yards calling bullshit
>>
>>32639490

It takes most human beings thousands upon thousands of rounds to get even close to that. I can shoot sub 1" with autoloaders at 7 yards- those are my good days.

You claiming you casually consistently shoot 2 or 3 inch groups at 25 yards sounds like a yarn.
>>
>>32639838
Met a guy at the range one time that claimed to have been a trainer for spetznaz in the old soviet union. Fucker could one hand 2 inch groups at 25 yards. Spent an hour hanging out with him while he corrected every flaw of my shooting until I got a couple 3 inch groups with 5 rounds. Now I prefer to shoot one handed. I still average 4-5 inch groups.
>>
>>32639932
Have you not shot thousands of rounds out of a single gun?
>>
>>32639932
Also, grain of salt from me shooting 2-3 consistently. My range has these bright orange swinging metal targets at 25 yards that are 3 inches on each side of the square. My grouping is probably marginally bigger than 2-3 inches, but I can peg those with every shot.
>>
>>32640077

Oh so you are saying you can hit a 3" plate at 25 yards fairly consistently, well that's realistic and has nothing to do with shooting groups.

I think you need to understand the terminology better.
>>

>>32637319
Same problem here, I can't hit shit with my G19 but when I shot my buddies single action 38 I did MUCH better.
What's wrong with us /k/?
>>
>>32640253
I guess I'm just markedly retarded today. I'm guessing that just because my plate goes ping, doesn't necessarily mean I hit square on the plate and it could still mean I'm shooting opposite corners of the plate rather than measuring the diameter of a circle using the center of my shots as my input points. Correct?
