It's still effectively a single shot weapon. One pull of the trigger, one bullet goes out.

Would you be concerned or question people with pistols instead of revolvers?

While traditionally they have heavier trigger pulls, double action revolvers can shoot as fast or faster than semi auto pistols. Does that concern you, would you prefer I had a single action revolver?

All semi auto or double action revolvers still only expell one bullet per trigger pull...they are single shot weapons.

Lever guns were designed as rapid fire military weapons. Seems silly to think that in America, but in Australia they are seen as such, slong with pump action shotguns, which were designed and intended for military use.

I'm sure during the US Civil War, at least one high ranking General with his head up his ass thought lever guns were too wild and should be banned from civilian and military use.
