Does anyone here actually know anything about tactics?
What are some good books for learning about tactics and strategy?
General strategy thread, talk about whatever strategy related.
Pic semi related.
Nothing?
Does someone know a board that might know more about this?
I thought that this would be the correct board.

You also posted this at night OP when many people on here aren't active. And from what I've read tactic wise it's really just common sense on what to do.

I shoot the enemy they die
If they shooting in front I sneak around the side, this is called flank
If I think guy is around a corner I pie him
I can duct tape my magazines together and make more magazines for quicker bullets shot
If I blow them up they die lots more than bullets, but if it's in a village some people get mad
I can put an iron sight on my scope and hold my gun sideways to look cool
If I have a beard it makes Muslims think my cock is giant and they don't fuck with me none

>avoid being detected until you engage, preferably remain unseen while engaging
>split the target up and/or encircle them in terrain favorable to you and unfavorable to them
>remove or capture enemy logistical structures/elements, deny them recovery of morale
>remove every tactical advantage from a harried force but never create dying ground

I meant squad tactics or like command tactics, like how to take a city or some shit. Not like individual tactics but like send this many people here because this, or something

>avoid being detected until you engage, preferably remain unseen while engaging.
I've tried that at a party, now I'm a registered sex offender.

French in WWII fight very well, soldier we're well formed, but it was the Army in itself who was fucked up. Retarded tactics, French soldiers did their best. Just see the death ratio Germany/France in the battle of france, 1/2 that a defeat and a clear defeat but they fought well.

200-0 they obviously used a hack, i report now.

I guess it's got some arcadey shit but Arma 3 and SQUAD are really neat squad-level tactics simulators. Having over 100 /vg/ autists storm various locations were some truly magical moments.

The Defence of Duffer's Drift
Makers of Modern Strategy from Machiavelli to the Nuclear Age by Paret
very informative post 10/10 would have this etched into my gravestone

This is a meme battle: Italy lost but France surrendered anyway.
Just perfect.
