Yes, its great. Mine has a good 4k rounds through it with no problems. Almost as good as my IO or my VEPR. Definitely get it or an IO if you're on a budget.

As someone who owns one, I'd say no - not unless you can be ABSOLUTELY FUCKING CERTAIN you're getting one of the later models that had good heat treating. The BCG is X marked or they appended some marking to it to indicate it had the updated heat treating.

The early ones have botched heat treating on the bolt / carrier / trunion and excessively wear. They fixed it, but not after manufacturing plenty of ticking time bombs.

Sar1, wasr, mac90, type 56, slr(anything), vepr, saiga, npap, opap, rifle dynamics, ect.
If its less than 800 bucks its probably shit, the days of $400 milspec ak's are gone.

An arsenal is 200 bucks more than the 750 c39.... just save up for a base model.
I perfer stamped, i personally perfer the 74 to the 47, but if its your first an only ak get the 47. I run a obzor optic, but any good red dot is fine you dont need to spend 400 bucks on one like me. I shoot what ever round is cheapest unless golden tiger is in stock and with in .02 a round. It is better. If your ak cant handel all ammos you throw at it its shit, pure and simple.
An rpk isnt a baf idea either but its to heavy for me forvthe andded bennifits of a heavy barrel.
I put thousands of rounds through my guns my sar 1 is going strong 17 years now, i bought it used when i was 18, im 35 now, barrel still isnt shot out.

Change out the bolt and carrier and you're golden. Going to change mine out eventually. I've not shot it much, but no malfunctions yet. Unfortunately I didn't get the one with the rail, I got mine right before they came out and I had no idea about them.

I have a C39V2 and it's great, I've been really aggressive with it. Only problem tho Century forgot to put a crown on my barrel... not that big of a deal considering the parts to fix it were 50 bucks

The bolt is not cast but the carrier is, but I can drop a wasr bolt and carrier in and it works.

The C39 is a decent price for what it is, the nitrided barrel is potentially more accurate (except for when they forget your crown grrrrr)

The only thing I would upgrade on mine is add a side rail and buy a polish bolt and carrier to drop in. but for now it goes bang and hasn't blown up in my face.

Wasr/cugir, any pap variety, vepr, arsenal, saiga/izmash (has to be used, norinco/polyetch (used), maadi (used), polish build kits. Ive heard iffy things about the amd rifles, so maybe avoid those as well.

Just stop being a faggot and get a wasr or opap/npap. Paps require special snowflake furniture and dont have chrome barrels tho
