Would it be hard to shoot at something so tiny?
>>
>>32623378
I'd think any high explosive round would be enough to squash the bee from overpressure.
>>
The bee would dodge all bullets, then sting one person and die
>>
Bee would fly past all defensives and sting Mattis, whos allergic to bees, thus rendering the military useless. Leaving it open for a Russian bee invasion
>>
Bees are scary shit believe me I play autistic dot dodging shooting games
>>
>>32623459
oh god this is why bees are disappearing!!!!!

The ruskis took them all to make bee armies!!!
>>
Depends how close to the ground the bee is, if it flies high enough up it could escape the pressure

>>32623459
Does Russia have bees?
>>
>>32623482
I wonder if we can get CNN to fall for this

Nuke only makes them strong you dingus, in Japan the bees mutated into hornets after the two freedom hugs in 1945.
>>
>>32623416
That's honeybees, bumblebees have unlimited sting capacity and could eventually take out the whole army over time.
>>
>>32623378
All it would take is for one soldier to leave his Mountain Dew bottle out in the sun half drunk with the cap off and the bee would crawl inside and fall into the Mountain Dew and drown.

This thread blows.

I was a Marine Infantryman. I was told I had to fight a stick.
>>
>>32623378

One bumblebee ain't really going to do much. It depends on what you want her to do though, I guess. Inconvenience someone afraid of bees? Sure. Maybe.

If she's just going around doing what she's doing it wouldn't be too hard to dial in where she's going to land in a clump of flowers and then make that area disappear. Bees aren't super operators or some shit. They just want nectar and to pollinate.

Yes. Bees aside, but sneaky chemical weapons, diseases, radiation, massive sound pressure etc such threats are difficult to counter.

Also hidden threats like mines, IEDs you don't know about where they are, are difficult to counter.
>>
I always imagined that if a bee was flying a bullet wouldn't be able to penetrate it because there just isn't much weight to a bee. If you imagine it like this: a bullet goes into a human because there is a lot of human behind the initial contact point, all of that mass can't go anywhere so it gets penetrated. However, there isn't much bee behind a bee. Just air. I have always imagined that the bee would either be flung off in a direction opposite it's point of contact, or, if hit dead on, kind of "ride the bullet." In my opinion, this would be the bee equivalent of a car crash. The bee is getting hit by something relatively the same size, but more massive. Perhaps getting hit by a car is a better analogy. Just like you could land on a car and hold on (if you were lucky) the bee, being less massive, could change velocity with less energy than a human and a car, therefore be okay and live. Unless of course the bullet strikes a solid surface and smashes against it. I don't think there is any high speed footage of in-flight insects being shot with a single projectile of similar size. I stand to be corrected though.

The air force needs to bee proof the F-22.
>>
Just attack at night.
>>
>>32623378

It depends. What are the variables involved here? I would take it a win for the USAF means killing the bee, but do they get to know its position initially and at all times? What is the win condition of the bee?

>>32623671
my god... a true weapon of mass destruction.

That's it, time to start CC'ing Bumblebees

DO NOT SHOOT BEES, YOU FUCKING IDIOTS

In fact, one type of bumblebee was recently put on the endangered species list. They are not a fucking thread when they're swarming because they do not have anything to protect so there is literally no point. They, in all likelihood, were not going to attack you at all.

Jesus fucking Christ some of you are fucking morons.
>>
>>32623378
ok, real big question here.

does the bee know its being attacked?
does the bee possess the intelligence to understand whats happening?

i mean honestly even if the bee made it to the artillery and started stinging soldiers, someone is bound to smash it eventually just by flailing around hahahaha
>>

I wish I could punch you in the fucking throat, you stupid fucking moron. It's not a fucking meme, you dipshit. Bees are dying, and dumbfucks like you aren't helping anything by wanting to shoot them.

How fucking retarded do you have to be?

You're like the fucking retards on /pol/ that deny climate change.

Nah, no matter where they get hit, head on or just deflected, they'd be subjected to massive G forces and die anyway
