ive owned nearly every variant of their pistol made in the last ten years and havent had a problem so im concerned. i lube the gun with whatever isnt froglube because the smell annoys me and i use federal white box mostly at the range

If the slide isn't locking back, are you sure that you don't have your thumb on the slide release?

As for the weak ejection, what are you typically shooting and how many rounds have you put through it. Could be weak loads or you just need a new extractor spring

Thinking of getting a full sized USP in .45 for my first pistol/Car gun. Any suggestions?

It's a good gun, but maybe not a good first handgun. I'd suggest a 9mm so you can afford to practice more and get accustomed to handling recoil.

My 9mm USP compact has no problem with anything ive shot
Its all been kinda fmjs
Remington, Winchester, Blazer, even reloads
No feed problems, no jams
Havnt shot any steel case, as my range doesnt allow it

Aw yes, HK thread? My USP compact .45 is my most favorite firearm of all time. Carried it for almost a decade. I feed my USPs a steady diet of federal and cheap Remington shit, never had a problem.
