Berlin 1936 (in color, OV with english subtitles) Skip to 7:49 for uniform.
Some odds and ends posts said the Waffen SS did have an all black field uniform but this was
replaced by the standard field grey uniform very early in the war. It was claimed they stood out
to much. I've never been able to verify if this was true.
The Kriegsmarine did field an all black infantry uniform I believe? (Could be a dark shade of blue)

You have a lot of reading to do. The SS pretty much laid down the foundation for Camouflage in WW2.
Up until ww2 the Italians were leading the way with camouflage tents. The SS invented camo smocks.
The Idea of them was to wear them OVER the uniform. They were also reversible. They did the same
for caps, and helmet covers. (all reversible.) The number of patterns they invented is also quite
numerous. The German designs were influential and quite a few are still in use in modern
Russia/America/and Germany.

World War II German Sniper Training Movie
WW2 America in Europe for-bayed US troops from wearing camo because of friendly fire
incidents -they thought GI's were Waffen SS troops.
Some SS troops didn't understand the concept of the concealment smock in the early war years
and took their smocks to tailors for proper fitting.
