>9 rounds of 9mm.
Why wouldn't he just carry a 1911? This gun is retarded.
>>32616606
not as retarded as this
because we should have shotguns for this kind of deal.
>>32616606
Because it usually goes something like
>here's a selection of guns from the prop house
>pulls out lunch bag stuffed full of shitty prop guns
OR
>here's your gun
>Why do I get the shit one?
>because it's the first one I grabbed and I cant be bothered to go back to the prop house
>>32616606
9mm blanks work(ed) better, hence why they had him use it in the movie
>>32616678
this.
>>32616606
Because Tarantino had a boner for 1911-style gun but was still relatively "independent" and was beholden to cheaper blank guns.
So >>32616678
Remember, he used the Smith 9mm's before that for Reservoir Dogs and continued the trend for films about Americana and violence. It makes sense.
>>32616624
>nice clean single action trigger in a caliber that's cheaper and more plentiful
I don't really think it's that retarded if you want an accurate range toy, although the Browning HI Power is a much better choice.
>>32616777
I got to shoot one of those old S&W 3913's and it's an absolute work of art; a great shooting gun.
>>32616777
>>32616970
If I ever find one of these used I'm buying it immediately.
>implying 9mm is shit
>>32616629
I will...
I will recognize your good post. It has not gone unnoticed anon

I ended up getting a 5906 one random day at the range after checking their shop after shooting. Just a little over $300; some police trade-in or the like that was magically practically new. Still one of my favorite guns, has features you'd pay hundreds for on a custom 1911. Great shooters.

Hi Phil
>>32617522
seen beautiful ones pop up for just 400, they seem GOAT
>>32617522
I just bought a 5906
Best $300 I ever spent
Does anyone know where to get a hammer spring for a Star Model Super B? The hammer on mine won't hit the firing pin 90% of the time, it's irritating as fuck.
>>32617541
kek
>>32616606
Have you ever fired a 1911 framed gun in 9mm? They shoot smooth as fuck. My Radom Vis35 is one of my favorite ones to shoot, the weight and lighter round make recoil negligible.
>>32616624
Please
>>32618605
Thats a nice gun anon.
>>32616606
Because its a shitty gun.
Would you use a "quality" gun you knew you were going to commit a crime? Also knowing you probably had to get rid of the gun after it was used in a murder none the less?
Also because it was what Marcellus Wallace issued both of them to use. And when Marcellus Wallace gives you a gun to use, you use it. Cus you know does Marcellus Wallace look like a bitch?
