No, it's just a ceremony thing. A parade is designed to virtually ''surrender'' your arms and show that you've got no ill will towards the one being paraded. It's a military show of force that is designed to be non-threatening to the recipient.
You point your rifles the other way, you point your sabre towards the ground and the barrels of any artillery pieces, including tanks, upwards. You might offset the turret away, too, but that's not always possible, since not every big gun comes with a turret.

Those things were insane. Stories of them moving towards AT gun positions, absorbing fire as the distance decreased, and then finally over-running and running over the guns as the crews fled in fear.
Only other story I've heard similar is the sole KV-2 holding off a German division, the KV-2 is a crap tank for a lot of reasons.
