Hey /k/ what are some good operating/hiking boots that don't look like complete shit and that I can actually wear in public everyday without looking like a complete goob?

Can't speak on boots, but my Vasque Juxt shoes are made very well, great materials too.
Only problem is they don't do so well on wet surfaces, the soles are a weird kind of rubber that is slippery as hell on wet stuff.
If you live in a dry area they would be fantastic durable shoes.

Keen, oboz, and vasques. All three a make great boots and shoes for hiking/backpacking. You can find a boot for any climate, any style you'd like in regards to ankle support, and lots of different color schemes.
There are obviously lots of different boot companies out there, but these are three that I have experienced and liked.
Pro tip, if you look at hiking boots, check out campsaver for some pretty good deals. Also, outdoorgearlab does pretty comprehensive reviews and will list where to buy for good deals.

Black leather US issued combat boots. You'll either look normal if you wear jeans, or a goober if you wear shorts, or a complete faggot if you wear anything else.
