I don't know why I just needed this specific revolver. I just saw it and fell and love with it and just picked it up today.

Will take it to the range one of these days. Show off your recent purchases or gifts. Knives and other weapons also appreciated

For those wondering it's a Smith and Wesson 627 Performance Center 8-shot .357 magnum 5 inch barreled version cut out for moonclips. Came with three moonclips and an extra rubber grip.

>8-shot .357 magnum 5 inch barrel

6 inch is best inch but still sexy as fug. How much did you pay?
>>
>>32608980
Sexy gun anon. Shame about that Hillary hole though.
>>
>>32609016

For getting the most out of a .357 while being reasonably large, I'd have to agree. I do own a 6 inch Smith.

The reasoning behind the lack of full barrel lug, from what I read, is so that you can transfer the gun from target to target a bit easier in competition. How much that extra weight at the front really matters who knows, I don't compete.

I live in Commiefornia so guns tend to go for more than usual, brand new, $1200

>>32609017

Tell me about it. Already took off the lock and am gonna fill that hole up.

Bought this a couple weeks ago, paid $1000. Hoping to take it to the range this week now that the snow has melted.
>>

They are very pleasant to shoot. The sight picture if you have the partial fiber optic is a bit funky at first but absolutely perfect for point and shoot. Can't speak for hot loads as I have not tried any yet
>>
>>32608980

I have a polish P64 on the way right now. Just waiting for that phone call
>>
>>32610121

What a sweet deal anon. Does anyone have an experience with the Beretta tomcat .32 ?
>>
>>32610389
I don't have the fiber optic, just the regular fixed sight. I do need to get a new windage screw, the guy somehow lost that. Then all I need is the rear diopter to make sure I've got everything.

My buddy has one and loves it. I was going to buy his, but he decided not to sell it after all. I'm glad since I ended up getting a much better deal.

just picked up this baby yesterday morning.

I'm the guy who was asking about them a few days ago and I've actually ended up finding one around 1400 that comes with ammo and some other stuff and I'm about to buy that shit up because I've fallen in love with them. I took your advice about where to find them.
+10 respect anon

Beautiful wheel gun OP

I just picked up my first AR lower, I have no idea what I'm gonna build it into yet. My LGS had Anderson lowers on sale for $40, after I make sure some bills get paid I might go pick up a few more

I'm on the verge of buying a rail- less model now that i know how the irons work
>>
>>32608980
Am I the only one who thinks that angles line below the barrel completely ruins then looks of that revolver?
>>
>>32608980
Sold my .380 Kahr and bought a .44 Magnum Desert Eagle that I already posted in the deagle thread. Love it so far.
>>
>>32610871
it would have been nice to have a rail-less one. but i bought this one before they sold out.
>>
>>32610585
I have yet to need the windage adjustment but limited to 50 yards for now. All I can say is enjoy, it is a well built smooth cycling pleasure to shoot
>>
>>32610121
Nice rifle but don't even bother with that red dot fampai, it may say Sig Sauer on it but it's Chink garbage
>>
>>32610905
I'm just a stickler about having everything complete, but I'm sure I will enjoy the hell out of it.

>>32611029
I know it's nothing special, but I'm sure it will serve me fine for my current needs. I'll just be making occasional range trips with it shooting at 25-50 yards. If I ever start hauling it around the woods I'll probably stick something sturdier on it. At the moment I'm trying to get the parts for the front sight and get a rear diopter so I can practice with just irons.

>>32610770
Nice, I still think that's a pretty reasonable price. I'm glad I could help and hope it treats you well. I look forward to seeing you post a picture when you get it.
>>
Just bought a RIA 1911 GI model. Can't pick it up till next week.

Just picked up these 2 girls today..

The wheel gat also came with black grips

no I'm not going to put them on
>>
>>32610874
I wouldn't say it "completely ruins" it, but I do agree, I don't like those shallow angle slopes on guns. Makes it look too much like it's trying to be a futurey "laser gun" or something.

The fact that the rest of the gun has that classic, rounded-concave-curve design for all the other corners just makes the one slope look out of place.

Aren't there barrel replacements thought?
>>
Havent acquired any funs recently, but 1000 rounds of 7.62x39 i ordered arrived yesterday. Range day later this week.

It was $400, it's a '61 with the original box, manual, and cleaning kit. Excellent bore. I was almost going to get the mark 4, but I feel like I made the right choice.
>>
>>32613036
>>32613090
Also I misread you, that's not a fucking luger you mong.

OP here, I'm not gonna lie. I had some second thoughts about getting that revolver for that reason. But it actually grew on me by quite a bit.

Considering most revolvers don't look that way and I own plenty. I figured getting something completely different felt justified.

And it grew on me to the point I prefer it. The gun truly feels a lot lighter than it should be for its frame, and I'm sure it's due to all those weight reducing cuts.

Bought this the other week and picked it up last thursday. Then that night the power went out, I stepped out in the garage in the dark, tripped on a box of siding panels, and broke my fall with both of my hands and sprained both thumbs, so I can't even pull the hammer back at the moment and the meaty part of my palm is sore as fuck.

It's not my first 500 but maybe I'll feel up to shooting it this time next week. I couldn't even tie my fucking shoes without wincing in pain the morning after, I've never sprained both at the same time before and it fucking sucks.

Picked up this thing a couple days ago. Pretty accurate for a 2" barrel. A bit heavier than I expected too.

Also, I love the racy looks on the PC and Pro series smiths.

I bought the .44 Stealth Hunter about a month ago and it is easily one of my favorite revolvers now.

I picked up some of those crazy Advantage Tactical triangle sights for the R8 because the stock R8 sights are kinda weird. Not bad but I never liked them. The triangle sights seem pretty wonky but it's an interesting concept and I paid next to nothing for them.

Beautiful

Congrats anon

What are those little spider gear things that are in front of the barrel?
>>
>>32620224

Like speed loaders but they actually fit inside the cylinder and thus no need to separate the ammo from them when loading.

Allows you to load another 8 shots very quickly
>>
>>32620228
Yes
>>32620472
No

Currently trying to trade/sell it. Want the 18" model instead.
