Sure, the 600 heads allow up to 6v of power while the 300s only allow 3v. The 300s won't work with 6v but they won't be damaged either.

The 600s will work with 3v but only give out half the lumens.

Ah, I see where you're getting that. No, right handed but I will reach under the forearm with my thumb to activate the light, but it goes right back to cupping the grip. Don't know why I've just always done it like that. That little MOE stubby, the KAC and now this GG&G, I've just always cupped in the "V" formed by the forearm and VFG, then I'll hook my thumb over the quad rail a bit, sort of TOB, but not directly over it.

The GG&G stubby VFG is nice enough, but two years of use saw it start to loosen up. It's one big flaw is that the only retension it has is that plastic circle nub, and it wears down eventually. I switched to TangoDown's QD stubby VFG and that shit is guaranteed to stay solid.

I was referring to the GG&G, I think it was meant to act as a locking element for the internal screw. Either way they didn't relief cut for it so it impeded the screw from engaging fully. I suppose I could have tried forcing it, I have a set of non-marring pliers.
