why is europe so much better at making guns than america? for example handguns made by american companies are a joke unless it's a $2000 range/safe queen 1911

>>
>>32597460
good european handsguns aren't much cheaper, bro
>>
>Smith and Wesson M&P
>have to buy apex trigger, barrel, and new sights to make it almost as good as a european gun
>>
>>32598552
And even then, M&P's still have accuracy issues.

because we are too busy perfecting the art of the AR15.
>>
because yurop is constantly on the verge of tearing itself into pieces
>>
>>32598575
As opposed to the US with your trump vs clinton, blm vs cops and general republican vs democrat fuckery?

The US is so powerful, its only threat is itself. Thankfully, for your enemies, and tragically, for the rest of us, you guys seem to be doing a fine job of ripping yourselves to pieces.

t. someone not living in yurope
>>
because american gun companies, much like hollywood, only make what they know will sell. America is pretty good at making ARs and 1911s because those are things that have been proven to sell well. when they try to innovate or diversify, most just fall flat. European companies care more about craftsmanship.

ultimately it's a non-issue for the consumer. good european companies like Cz have no trouble exporting firearms to the US.
>>
>>32598592
If you are living in America or Yurope, that means you live in a 2nd world or 3rd world country, that shit always tears itself apart.

As much as I hate to admit it, Europe is the ROOT of white civilization, thus they are the best at making shit. Americans really are just colonials.

Just that the root is being corrupted right now, which is sad.

Yeah okay, stupid Amerifat.
>>

Congrats but enjoy no guns except old ass shotguns.

you both know exactly what each other mean, you're just deliberately disagreeing for the sake of conflict. obviously the term "1st world" has changed in the popular mindset since the cold war, but when the concept was conceived, japan was by definition 2nd world.
>>
1) American engineering is lacking, primarily due to the following concepts still being prevalent:

2) planned obsolescence, designing things to break at some point so your customer must buy a new one from you.

3) use of the cheapest possible parts to keep cost low, to competitively price

4) American engineering in general when it comes to cars and guns just sucks. We do boats, jets, spaceships, and software better than anyone else though. For some reason we can't make a good car or gun to save our lives.
>>
>>32597460
Because there's not a whole lot of handgun manufacturers in America, which is kinda ironic, since we can cc, but there's really only colt, ruger, s&w and kel-tec. Try starting shit over general gun innovation with us though, europoor
>>
>>32597460
They aren't. It's just memed here because people think $600 H&Ks are "high end."
>>
>>32598612
Shut up faggot. In the ZOG of the USA the little man with the dreams and skills and pride to make great things is snuffed out with every kind of oppression by the monopolists.

It's not because of cheaper arms, it's mainly because of the US protectionist stance against foreign firearm imports that causes an increase in value from the high demand of a product, and the low supply of said product. Pic related is a Luxembourg AVT for civvie ownership, its value dropped from $700 range last year to the $400 range right now. Thanks to import bans, we can't get these through, causing a price hike due to the strong demand for said products but a low supply. If you remove these import bans, you'll manage to reduce the artificial scarcity and high value to achieve an inexpensive product as both demand and supply are high. Unfortunately, the only thing available here are nothing but boring AR15s. It would be great if we can exchange ARs
for foreign Euro arms and surplus due to the popularity of the AR15 for European hunters and sports shooters, but sadly, that won't be the case. Best we can hope is if the current NRA coalition would remove certain import bans

my tears when I live in a country where every semi auto rifle is by default banned and only if a manufacturer went through the trouble to lobby the .gov for special treatment do we get to own a neutered version of it. this results in only some 12 or so semi auto rifles being legal here, none of which is an AK variant. pic related is the only obtainable "AK", a straight pull bolt gun.

>>
>>32599062
No, Austria. We can have handguns for SD and like I said rifles that were OK-ed by the .gov. However, they are neutered abominations that cost a kidney and a leg and I'm not really willing to pay for a 2200€ AR which isn't as nice as an 800$ AR in the US.
>>
>>32597460
That's interesting, considering that CZ and FN are the only European companies who didn't relocate to the US because they're friendlier to gun manufacturers.

You fucking noguns
>>
Us consumer market has ruined your guns. People wantd many cheap guns, and you carry them so they can be considered disposable. This lowers the use pr gun, in turn allowing the designers to engineer them for minimal use.

In europ we dont buy alot of guns, we buy a few guns for specific uses, no one carries, and people with guns usually shiot alot, so the requirements are higher.

Used narket benefits the most, since there arent many hoarders or rsndol collectors here. The licensed collectors just buys tge specific niche shit they are collecting

The shitty part about all this are that your shitty gun corps buy out european manufacturers and move production to tge us. And make shitty guns, see sphinx

1. Europe is a continent, America is a country, so that comparison is already unfair.

2. They aren't better.

Because they need something reliable to shoot themselves in face of Russian invasion.
