This might be a last resort. Keep in mind some dogs can literally crush your bone by just biting on your hand.
I think it's some sub-conscious thing that stops people from stabbing dogs in the eyes, instead they kick them or smack them which does literally nothing to them.

This is my "dog appreciation set".
I jog at nights cause work and it's relaxing, quiet & shit..., so I'm prone to encounters with dogs and sometimes drunk punks on rare occasions.
Keep in mind at night even a tamed dog can get batshit insane when he sees something running fast. Instinct.
I started carrying it after a gigantic St. Bernard rushed on me once. It was on a leash and the owner barely managed to hold it, in effect, the dog went insane and started to attack his owner. It was so sudden I almost had a heart attack.

#1. GEL mace (by no means spray). FOX LABS is told to be the best, need to buy it again. Had to use twice so far.

#2. Zoraki 906
Good looking, comfy to hold cockroach-made 9mm PAK handgun. Effective on dogs because extremely loud, louder than any real handgun I shot.
Only had to draw once on some drunk punks who thought they will have some fun on easy pray. Watching them run was cash.

#3 last resort cheap switchblade. Never had to use, and hope I never will. Should I ever, I'd raise my left arm for dog to stab, than go for the eyes or gut it with knife in right hand. That's what everyone suggests at least.

I had a dog that would get food aggressive and have night aggression (not sure what to call it, but he'd snap if he was startled from sleep) and come at me without warning. The few times he did get me I'd lean back, plant a foot on his chest and create distance, then get a stool or something. By then he'd snap out of it. We could combine this tactic with the previous "spread forelegs" tactic

Sprint at dog vet fast and surprising , and trigger its gag reflex with your penis, leaving both hands to grab the forelegs.

Thus breaking the bones fairly quickly, without exposing your vitals to doggo biter.

In all seriousness the majority of dogs are simply too inexperienced to be a literal lethal threat to a healthy adult human. Much like wolves before they actually get some kills.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=II1U3MAObks

But if a dog has some experience, it could be really dangerous. They're lunge straight past presented limbs towards the neck.

>>32598336
ehhh, I wouldn't say trained. As most are trained to grab presented limb. Which would ultimately handicap them. A feral pitbull that's maybe managed to kill a sheep or another dog on the other hand knows to grab groin/neck. As he's learned first hand what it takes to kill.
>>
>>32598346

Something something swamp rats and use the force?

Hypothetically you're golden, however I wouldn't chance it in this already incredibly hypothetical situation. Dumb pupper? Sure, whack him with the broom. killjoy 60+LB doggo 5 feet in the air traveling at 35+ MPH aimed at my throat? I don't think the broom would hurt over nothing, but nearly my last choice.

>doggo after promising him a car ride.
>>
>>32598402
Ultimately they go to that point, but unless they've gone through all that before their first attack first bite is going to be whatever part of what they're attacking is closest. (anecdotal)

It's not completely undeserved. Think of them like guns, you orient it wrong and squeeze it in the wrong place and you could guess what happens?

I wouldn't have one if you have kids or if you often have new guests.

But they're great as watch dogs if you pass those criteria. Just be sure to thoroughly train it.
>>
>>32598467
shovels have a little less reach because of the distribution of mass and can make it a bit harder to counter the more agile dogs
but more than make up for it if you can get the timeing right
main downside is a lack of flex in the handle can weaken where the shovel blade attaches
and more deliberate hand holds are needed to avoid shock transmitting back though to ones hands

strange as it seems most dogs give up pretty quick when not on their own turf a strong strike is needed to ward of their first attempt at you
after that it pays to keep a sharp eye on their movements and counter them as early as possible and with minimal exertion
after a while they feign retreat or cowering
to finish things you have to hold position and move slowly
they are just waiting for you to move closer or further away in such a way that they can lash out
unless you kill them its only really over when they run off or stop following you

lucky I've yet to fight off a pack
but I have observed that most of the dogs are docile if not provoked by the alpha
you just have to find the alpha and take them out first
the pack attacks first but they lack commitment
>>
>>32598486
they are shitty stroppy and dumb dogs for sure
but their typical owners only make them worse though mistreatment and poor training

one thing to note is they are very protective of who they consider to be family
a bit more so than other dogs they will wig out over perceived threats
>>

Trained doggo is a bit worse for a person than just a dog that gets a taste for killing animals.
When I was in the army we had a few guard dogs and they're a bit different to 'everyones mate' the sniffer dogs. They basically go for whatever their handler tells them- arms, legs, neck, wrist, cock and are trained to immobilise rather than just outright murder. Most people lose the will to resist (and live) with 40kg of German shepherd attached to their junk.

Killer dogs I've had a bit to do with. Mostly farm dogs that just go rogue and start chewing on sheep, calves and goats, they don't generally attack people though.
Feral and wild dogs will attack people from time to time, but generally only if the person is injured or otherwise incapable of defending themselves, you'll sometimes see one go after someone but its uncommon. In a pack however, that's a different story and you'd really want to watch yourself.

I would suppose he lives in germany(pfeffer spray on the can), meaning he can get a licence to carry a blank gun for 50€. Seen as guns a rare on the streets here a blank gun is enough to scare off 99.9% of people, and dogs are scared of the loud noise.
Blank guns are a good choice here seen as you dont need a licence to have one at home and noone can see the difference without looking at the PTB number.

really? you don't even have to touch them with it. the high freq crackle of a stun gun scares the shit out of them. you aren't exactly making friends, but they'll let you back away. only a trained dog will attack at that point, and if they come at you, they won't do it twice. they retire police dogs that have been hit with a stun gun, because they become basically worthless afterwards. just making a buzzing sound at them afterwards will put them in a figurative cold sweat.

Only thing I can think of barehanded. Other than jumping around like a retard and attemptin g to land on its legs for crushing/breaking.

Kicking or beating a dog on the face and body won't do anything at all if it's angry, and each time will be a chance for it to bite and latch on.
Better to make a decicive move where you get on its back and choke it.

From what I've heard from a few who served before if you don't have a weapon. If a dog is charging you, use your non dominant out in front of you as a target for the dog to latch to. When he does come to latch on, take your dominant hand and form a C-shape, like you're going to choke someone, and slam it into their windpipe. This would either crush their windpipe, or cause enough pain for them to let go.

I'm Romanian. Best tactic is when you see the growling you turn towards them and growl back/grow violent. Kinda awkward if there are people around but you'll keep the dog locked in place while you can back off. Also you can feign a rock grab from the ground to make them turn around to duck for a while while you can keep backing off.

Two years ago stray dogs killed an (obviously unwatched) kid so the mayor put them all down, no more stray dogs, at least not in Bucharest. The rattle from me falling off the bike made them scatter away though. But I still have the scar

>and more deliberate hand holds are needed to avoid shock transmitting back though to ones hands
I used to use a shovel a lot when I worked in a hellhole.

When too much gunk stuck to the shovel head we would smack it on the concrete floor with huge overhead swings. I never experienced shock going into my hands. We abused the shit out of our shovels and they hardly ever broke. Even when they were broken the were still usable so we just taped them up and let the new guys use them. I actually want to use a shovel shaft for the halberd head I bought.

no weapon needed. dogs are pussies.
grab the dog's lower jaw and put your thumb on its tongue and will do everything in its power short of biting in order to get you to release.

you're also talking about an animal with its most sensitive part, its nose, right on the front of its face. punch that nose as hard as you can.

No BS rules. You can show up with as many as you want. Adults pay $50 per scalp, pups pay $25. This is in Murweh shire council. You have to certify you shot them in the council area and list what property it was on.

Good luck bagging 3 a day though. We picked up 2 over 5 days (not going after dogs exclusively though), dogs are difficult prey, they are fairly smart, have good eyesight and smell. They run fairly quickly as well. The ones we shot both were running at full speed before we got a shot off so took a couple of round to get one on target.

The population density is fairly low as well, its a pretty dry and inhospitable location.

I worked in a shelter for a good long while and the "pit bulls aren't aggressive" thing is a meme to unload aggressive dogs on people and then charge them money to train (i.e. exhaust completely to the point it doesn't feel like attacking) the dog into acting right. Our highest paid employee was the PR/marketing lady and she made her bones by feeding people these lies.

Every single person who spouts that shit ended up getting bit. Every. Single. One. I'm talking dozens of dog bites a year. It's the "refugees welcome" of dog ownership. Pit bulls are easily identifiable by looking like a fucking canine nigger. If you're looking at a dog and you think "huh that dog looks kinda niggerish" it's a fucking pit bull. It's not a catch all category, it's just that worthwhile dogs don't tend to get turned loose to breed in the street.

If you really want to help a downtrodden animal, shoot stray pit bulls in your town. Perfectly good shelter spots get wasted on these shitters and it leads to actual good dogs getting euthanized. By eliminating the shitty pit bull genes, you're making future dog offspring less likely to be killed for being a cunt.

I nearly drew on and shoot a dog today. Just a few hours go in fact.

I was leaving my house and walking to my vehicle in the driveway when 3 dogs from a couple houses down began barking and running at me. The first two were tiny lap dogs so I didn't really pay them mind but there was a full sized rottweiler. Looked about 80-90lbs. I have had some experience with larger dogs so I just stood my ground and cross my arms to appear bigger. They kept barking and eventually calmed down before licking my hand.

Still I feel like I fucked up for not drawing my concealed pistol. I think think it would have killed me but if that doggo did jump and bite me I could have been seriously injured. Mostly did not want someone see me pulling my weapon in the middle of my driveway like a crazy person.

I'm going to err on the side of caution next time, I made a mistake not arming myself in the face of a threat.

If someone in the middle of the street was running at you full bore screaming at the top of their lungs. Would you assume they simply wanted to shake your hand?

Meth literally does none of that shit, if you managed to win a fight on meth it was because you fought another fucking tweaker who was equally incapable of fighting.

Meth is synthesized achievement. Want to feel like you've done something to be incredibly proud of and need to share with everyone but not actually have done anything and then lie to everyone about said achievements that never happened? Do meth.

I wonder if there's a wikihow on how to draw a dog.
>>
dogs are the main reason i got a snub 44
noticed most dogs are pretty stupid, wave my left arm around tends to draw their attention to going for it. worry about burn from the cylinder gap if the fucker was on top of me and on my left arm but it seems better than some of the alternatives
neighbors pitbull getting lose and standing around out in the street that one time is a big motivator to go get a ccw license
fuck scraping with one of those things
>>
>>32601402
This is false the Czechs have one and are in the EU, unbitchify your country and you can have CC.

what the fuck your own dog would randomly attack you? And you just dealt with it? I'm an avid doggo lover but that mutt would've gone straight to euthenasia town
>>
>>32608130
I've adopted three pit rescues and they were wonderful dogs, but self and wife are just good with doggos. I couldn't play grabass with the wife or the dogs would try to stand between us, looking up to her for guidance. I didn't discipline them for that because they were sweet to us both but highly protective of her.

Pit shitskin owners are garbage, but I'd pit again if I had time to devote to doggo.
>>
A gun.
Make sure to kill dog thoroughly.
>>
>>32597767
>that it was not a runaway success
it was in france, liettraly every post man was armed with a velodog, except that the french one was different, instead of being chambered in .22 it was in 6mm velodog use a mix of smokeless powder and some coton to avoid over penetration of the dog's body
>>
If I couldn't carry a gun I'd carry a hammer on my belt. Bury between doggy ears, game over.
>>
>>32597348
A baseball bat, you can hit it in the neck before you get bit and after one blow it's very unlikely that the dog would try to attack again
>>
>>32599133
T. Never been attacked by anything
>>
>>32611635

Even more popular in Belgium, where most cheap shit vélodog revolvers were made.

The second world war kinda killed it though, since it became less acceptable to be armed after that.

Dogs love beer. Obviously it's really bad for them and since they have no evolved tolerance of alcohol they get FUCKED UP off a very small amount, though. Pour half a Yuengling out in a bowl and relax with your doggo some time, it's funny as fuck. Just don't make a habit out of it.

Although my uncle had a greyhound that got a beer or two pretty much every day and it lived for nearly 15 years, which isn't a bad run for them as I understand it. He did legitimately die of liver failure though.

>one day she calls and asks about a retaining wall along driveway
>my buddy was over at the time
>go get brick slabs, quickcrete and masonry quickcrete
>and lots of beer
>get drunk while buidling wall
>dog from property over keeps coming around
>start giving him beer
>he gets shitfaced
>so bad we have to bring him in the house until he sleeps it off

Built a fine rock wall, and a dog that had hated me now loved me.
