The bigger the caliber, the better. Try to show me something I've never seen!
Has anyone heard anything about the Warthog, or any of the Para double-stack 45s?

I'm not a Luger expert, I mostly stick with metal-frame double stacks.

Yeah, that works.
If you gave me the choice between a Wildey and an Auto Mag, I would always go with the Auto. One of these days I'm gonna saw the front off a 1911, graft in a revolver barrel and make it work.
Are you tired of your wrists not being broken all the time?

Fixed barrel, fixed slide

Nice. Reminds me of the Hogue Avenger.
This is the Knoble .45, which lost to the 1911 in the Army competition...

... Along with the Savage 1910, which was unreliable in .45 but did fine in .38 auto.

I really, REALLY like the Savage, it's like a full-size Ruger 22-45, which is definitely a thing that should exist. I hope round barrels come back in style, but everybody's stuck on recoil operation... Lever delayed blowback, that's where it's at.

Here's that Hogue Avenger I was talking about. Turns out its based on that Ultramatic! Small world.
Wonder if it would fit a double-stack Para frame...
How did we make it this far without the Ruger 22/45 Lite?
