Should I just suck it up and hop on a waitlist somewhere? I'd be all over one if I could find one around me. A PPQ with a DA option and better aesthetics sounds just about perfect.

Probably, yeah. Walther only makes them bianually and expects that to last the entire year's demand but the P99 is one of the more popular ones they offer and we know that doesn't work. I got lucky and found mine new in store for $550 after tax, a lot of places will be charging more though.

I use the +2 extension so its amazing.
