I like Walther.
>>32592787
Disgusting, why not leave it as it was? It's steam punk aesthetic already. Or just use a c93
>>32592864
the luger in question has a world first, integral pistol light built into it. Its steampunk sure, but that shit is original. Ian did an episode on maybe that one.
>>32592773
>>32592787
It is a Luger with a built in light, the brass plates on the grip are so the shooter's hand connects them and creates a circuit to turn on the light. Used by Hitler's guards:

It's the GL1, was made specifically for the F2k. Basically a fancy M203 from what I remember reading.

Manlicher-Schoenaer, shoots 6.5x53, expensive as fuck rounds mostly hand load my own. Pic obviously not mine but it is awesome with that hair trigger, cyclical 5 round magazine, i feel like I could have made the magic bullet shot with this gun

Polish Gward revolver. On surface looks like S&W copy, but notice how front sight and ejector "guard"( or whatever you call it) is attached by pins instead of being milled out of same block of steel as barrel.
>>32601230
i desire this
>>32601419
I do too. They are fairly cheap(by comparison to other guns in Poland) but they are in limited suply (only 2k made).

Haha, I doubt. It's probably to simplify manufacturing or save barrel steel (neither of those parts have to be made out of hq steel).
>>32601670

I love SVDs with black furniture. Maybe one day someone will make decent clones.
Also I have a huge boner for the USP 45 series, but I already have the compact (my favorite gun ever) and the tactical. Maybe get a standard model just to have the in between.
>>32601622
I love these wwII ads. Evryone one of them basically says we dont have anything to sell you, its all gling towards the war. Favorite is a tire ad that tells people how to get the most life out of them and to stop buying rubber
>>32601021
are you baiting ?
>>32587507
>
>>32587570
AUS or AUT bro?
>>32602151
It is kind of shocking that no one does make a US built clone. I guess there is no extra tooling lying around the Soviet bloc.
>>32591967
why?
>>32602396
For real. Maybe someone could score some tooling out of the ME or Asia somewhere, I'd love for that to happen as well as getting the tooling for HK33s from Turkey or Malaysia or something. It would be a great companion to my AR.
Motherfucking war trains
>>32602396
>>32602452
I don't know how true this is but I remember hearing that Russia (and the former soviet union) held some small arms as state secrets and as such the tooling, information, diagrams and measurements could not be exported under their law.
The SVD was one of those guns. Other include the groza and the VSS.
>>32602569
someones been playing Battlefield 1
>>32602357
aus, aut dont wear camo, they have something like idf, grey-brown uniform
>>32602573
The SVD is definitely made by other countries though, like China, Poland, Iraq, and Vietnam just to name a few.
>>32602452
I would cream my jeans if PTR started putting out an HK33 clone built from contract rifle tooling. I was always an AK guy, but disassembling a roller lock for the first time and really coming to appreciate how they function has given me a new love. I feel like I'm cheating on General Kalashnikov, and it makes me feel dirty.
>>32602573
That actually sounds accurate, based on the fact that their optics exports are pretty tightly controlled.
>>32602573
>>32602606
I mean it's essentially an AK platform with a longer barrel and fancy furniture, is it not?
>>32602517
The FNC is a rifle I would love to see FN build here. I guess there is probably not a high enough demand to justify, plus it could eat in to the sales of their AR and SCAR lines, but it is such a solid fucking rifle. Friend of mine has shot a post '86 dealer sample and he said the trigger reset was extremely fast, faster than an AR platform by his estimation.
>>32602638

>>32613317
Ah! Close enough I suppose. They sound quite high-tech for their time. Any idea of what purpose is the lock serving there?
>>32604019
Because they break constantly and only the Russians and maybe flips can produce them cheaply enough to bother with.
>>32613410
There are videos online that could tell you, but I can't recall. Like most repeating rifles of the musket era, they were absurdly expensive, finicky and unreliable.
