I was homeless for about a year and a half, I had an associates degree and a job. I'm in a major city and they have jack shit for homeless folks, even the VA told me they had nothing (apparently those programs are very dependent on what city you're in, Houston has nothing) so no, oftentimes there is nothing for homeless people.

Haven't been homeless since 2013, but it was an eye opening experience.

I work EMS in Vegas and have been in the tunnels twice. Its interesting but nowhere near the stalker level people including me want it to be. Just smelly homeless lighting camp fires in tunnels and getting CO poisoning.

I could rent a room and have no money but I don't want to do that both for the money and because I just fucking hate living with people. My point is I'd like to see how good you would look after sleeping on the ground for a while, in the cold perhaps, it breaks you down, reverts you to savagery.
