So my moms friend said I could have a reloading press he "ended up never using". Last year my grandad willed me some cowboy looking pistols when he died. After a guy at the gunshop looked at them he said they where in some oddball caliber but that a lot of people had them switched to .45 ACP.
So my question is how feasible, and what would I need, to reload .455, or would it be easier in the long run to just convert it to .45? (And make them both snubbies for that duel wield ;)?)

Do NOT switch them to .45 because A) that ruins them and B) they cant handle modern .45 loads and C) reloadin .455 isn't hard since I believe you can just cut down .45 LC and use graf and sons .455 die to ensure proper sizing
You caught me, but seriously, is reloading .455 a thing?

I thought if they were converted the case would sit to deep in the cylinder for the firing pin to get a good hit. Wouldnt you need moon clips?
