i got this classic revolver holster for 10$, i also have a triple k IWB carrylite holster coming in monday for the 1911. Ive been wanting a dedicated holster for it. Now i need to get a OWB for the 1911 and a IWB for the Smith and wesson model 15.

kek maybe, or they spend so much money on watches that explode they dont like wasting money on holsters that will be flung off a plane or tossed out a window so they can fight hand to hand.

ive found the simply rugged pocket protector to be really nice. It doesnt print much and the its grippy enough to stay in the pocket when you pull your gun but not to grippy that it tugs at the fabric when you walk around.

I've tried a few different styles and found wearing around 4:30 iwb to the most comfortable with a pancake style holster.

Should I get a shoulder holster? What are the pros and cons??

Pros: can work well seated in a car/etc.

Cons: Access and retention issues in-fight (you must reach across your body to get the gun, so your draw is easily fouled); safety issues (they're banned in basically every training course and public shooting range for a reason -- you sweep yourself and others); speed (slow compared to traditional belt holsters in almost every position due to inconsistent positioning of the gun + extra movement to draw).

They're not ideal for suit/jacket carry unless you never take your jacket off, and if that's the case a strong-side OWB will work better. Since I don't like to depend on my outer garment alone to conceal at work, they're not an option for me.

However, the internet will think you're cool if you do it.
