Why are some quad rails so expensive? Pic related is $199 MSRP, yet I see similar rails for under $50. Is there a massive difference in quality/materials?

Made of good medal very strong not made of week glocks

>a massive difference in quality/materials
yes. for the most part, there is a point of diminishing returns, and that price for a drop in quad rail is right around $100. FF, figure around $175ish

quad rails are outdated...go with an m-lok/keymod or other type of slim handguard
on that note i got an unbranded keymod handguard at a local gun show for 50 dollars, and notice no difference between it and my friends geiselle.
I have some cheapo rails. They're not awful, but a couple I wouldn't trust to hold zero if you knocked them around a lot. They're also heavier than they look like they should be.

typical glock hater.
Well for one thing Troy has always overcharged the everloving fuck out of their mediocre products. There's also a considerable price difference between drop-in quads and free-float quads across the board. My drop-in from MI cost all of $60, the FF version was $170.

quad rails are fine, if you have tiny soft baby hands and quad rails are too big for you, then you should just stick with those standard polymer handguards. unless those aren't high speed low drag enough for all the operating you do on your way to the range

the difference is in weight and edges sharpness cheapo quads have cheesegrater rails
>>32572154
you must be really blind because Geiselle doesn't make a keymod hand guard.
>>32572278
they did

i meant in the quality of metal and machining?
>>32572263
i do have small hands but i also dont see the need of having rails all over the place, i only have one on the bottom for a bipod
>going to a range
>not owning property to shoot on
maybe im just a kike at heart but i dont see why you'd pay over $150 tops for a handguard

>rail holding zero
Anon, why are you mounting an optic on the rail in the first place?
