I've actually been considering starting a patch store based around very-low-count embroidered patch runs. They wouldn't be merrowed and they probably wouldn't have velcro (or if they did I'd have to buy it, cut it, and stick it on myself), but it could fill a nice niche in the market for patches that have one or two people interested in, but not enough to justify a run of 100+ on the normal stores.
