Just got one of the tactical ones with the collapsible/folding stock. They're pretty neat OP, they kinda mangle brass, but if you're not an avid reloader, they'll do just fine as a tactical/ SHTF/ Everyday carbine

The Mini 14 and 30 are fun to shoot and I love them. That being said they are way overpriced. You can get an AR that is just as good for less. Minis are really ~$500 guns being sold for $750+.

I'm with you but apparently it's worse than an AR in every way and more expensive, so I bought an AR.

I still really want a fuddtastic ranch rifle though that's not just for durr hunting though.

The mini 14 is good enough for most uses and i do agree that it does certainly look better but bare in mind that, if you go for the mini 14 you'll be buy a rifle that's not only less accurate, but less in pretty much every way except price. You can get a pretty decent ar15 for the price of the shittiest ar15.

Its a fucking good gun, more fun to shoot than an AR.
