The gas tube on my SKS is a bit wobbly. Is this normal?

>built by illiterate, drunk, communists
Yes

Well mine was built by a bunch of slants
>>32551488
I've got a few russian SKS and the one that's the most wobbly, beaten, worn out and rusty (well it's not longer rusty, was rusty when I bought it) groups the best and always goes bang.
You're worrying needlessly, it's normal.

Damn I love this gun

I own many much nicer rifles, this one sees the most use. I've probably put around 4 crates of surplus through it and it never skips a beat. Only failures I've had with it were due to ammo
Best $150 I've ever spent

I didn't have any Asians jokes ready. A thousand apologies

Don't worry op, it's nothing that will stop the gun from working. A lot of disinformation online about the importance of a tight tube...As long as that piston hits the op rod square and the piston head seals, don't worry about it. If it wiggled and the mating around the gas block was shit, I might worry. Otherwise, enjoy your SKS.

This
I have a Russian model and the fit and finish is quite questionable, but I've had no malfunctions aside from a slamfire, but that was my own fault.
>SKS a lovely raifu
