Can't speak for that knife but I bought a cheap ass winchester bowie knife that I found in the clearance section at sportsmans warehouse for $7 and couldn't be happier. I've abused the shit out of it since I didn't care what happened to it but it hasn't failed me yet.

Looks like cheap stainless steel. If you want to duick around with it for 10$ sure. If you expect it to be a serious tool I wouldn't expect it to fill that task very well.

Mora and Glock make good fixed blades that can take some serious abuse.
