A Judge. I mostly carry it for shooting trap. If I miss with both barrels I do a tactical transition to my sidearm loaded with #6 shot. Guys at the club really think I'm super cool.
I like my 442 as a roving gun or BUG.
If my main carry was a revolver I would go for something in 327 fed mag. You get an extra round for the form factor compared to 357 without giving up any significant amount of performance.

Different anon, I've been debating getting a LCR in 327 Fed but I think I'm going to start with 38spl for cheaper ammo/more practice to get used to small frame revolvers. Thoughts?

I've been asked this same question (327 vs cheaper ammo) before. My view is go 327 and learn to reload. Reloading is awesome, you will save a ton of money, and with revolvers you don't even have to scrounge around for your brass.
If you reload you can tailor your loads, too. If you wanted you could make loads lighter than you can even buy retail to start and then work up as your skill grows.
