Is this stuff legit or a gimmick?
Any personal experiences?
Does it feed well?

i.e. any better than run of the mill Winchester flat nose?
No idea. I changed from Winchester Rangers to Hornady XTP 90gr. after seeing a ton of tests. I will say, .380 has come a long way in bullet design. I bet you JMB would be pretty damn impressed.

larger wound channel and larger permanent cavity.
>>32541771
I think its legit, most lehigh stuff is.
and i think they feed just like normal FMJ.
>>32541771
the extreme cavitator is more impressive.
but this stuff is pretty good, even makes .32 acp seem viable.
>>32541796
It seems to get some hate, but I've stuck with critical defense for years now. Has always performed great for me.
Sometimes I carry FMJ (winter especially).
>>32541822
I used to carry FMJ for a while too, since I figured .380 is so anemic that I really needed to go all penetration. I live in Texas though, so people layering up for winter doesn't really ever happen except when our weather goes all the way down to 70 lol. This is out of a Walther PPK.
I carry 9mm or .45 most of the time though, so my Walther is very rarely carried except for the odd occasion I just can't conceal anything else.

Bersa CC here... poor man's PPK :)
>>32541912
Bersa's have gotten really good, from what I've seen. I had a Thunder .380 about 7 years ago, gave it to my ex before we split unfortunately.
>>32541932
Yeah, I've never had a problem. Still would like a PPK one day for collection purpose though. Would love to get a hold of a pre-ban(pre-68 I think) one.
>>32541968
I thought they were imported up into the 70's, could be wrong though. I got a S&W licensed one, it's worked great.
>>32541817
The .32's look like baby wad cutters, the other type looks like wad cutters with a few cuts out the corners.
I don't know if I'd trust the .32 kind to cycle and chamber right in a semi.
the penetrators chamber fine in my lcp, never shot anyone with them, so i can't say for certain how effective they are, but i'm otherwise impressed.
>>32544591
the .32 cavitators chamber without any issue in my ap 7.65 which isn't even technically the right caliber. someone posted a good article on how 7.65 browning differed from .32acp but i can't find it.
>>32544591
Is there a .32 worth owning besides seecamp and maybe a scorpion
>>32541932
>all that jewlery
we get it, you like skyrim
>>32541822
>my carry ammo does a flawless job of sitting and never being fired
Or alternatively
>works great I shoot people all the time
I saw a lot of test videos and XTP did the best
>>32541771
I've shot it through my shitty Grendel p12, chambered fine. Granted, I only shot a mags worth of ammo cause it's pretty expensive.
On the subject of 380s. Anyone have experience with the tanfoglio witness pavona?
I'm thinking about getting one for my girlfriend to use as her CCW.
>>32545826
colt 1903.
>>32546200
You ignorant piece of poorfag city shit, some people shoot for fun on a regular basis and experiment with their ammo on various targets etc.
>>32546642
this makes me wonder if it's legal to hunt feral hogs with a .380 in my state
>>32545619
I don't think there's any difference between the two both should be 7.65x17 with a semi rim
Some brass has a slight taper in the extractor groove starting around the top and thins out toward the rim. When I go over my brass I can notice it on some of mine. Heard some brass doesn't have it depending on manufacturer but from what I've read European brands tend to do it and American ones don't. I can't find American brand .32
Really tempted to try getting some of those cavitator rounds for it, such a small round penetration seems worrysome to me with the round being smaller than the tip of my pinky to the first joint on it I can't really imagine it stopping anything that's pissed off even if it were made out of AP material.
>>32547476
Come on don't make me find the article. .32 will tend to rimlock in those older guns made for 7.65 even though they aressupposed to be interchangeable
Speaking of .32 ACP
Should I buy this? 1944 AC Walther PP, some dude nickeled it after bringback
Bullets are Phillips, gun only shoots Torx, what do?
>>32547741
FUCKING DO IT
>>32549269
He's asking $380, I think I'll do it if he replies again.
>>32547741
>>32549492
Great price for a beautiful piece. Do it!
>>32550457
I'm pretty convinced that I will pick it up tomorrow, thanks anon :)
>>32541771
I reload them for my glawk 17 and they feed no problem. Also put them through the 357 without issue

Is it the next best thing to illegal "armor-piercing" rounds?
I've always been a little worried about criminals wearing armor, it's getting more and more available.
