In Mississippi they're considered an invasive species. While hunting them can definitely be tons of fun, they are actually pretty destructive as far as the land is concerned. Fun has to come second. Use anything and everything to bring them in and do the land, the property owner, and the natural environment of our Beloved Dixie a favor and take them the fuck out.

Here in South Carolina they're an invasive species as well.
We use corn piles for deer hunting (only on private land) and they eat all the fucking corn.
Come January we always do night hog hunts with ARs and green lazer lights.

Is there an ideal hog hunting round? My grandfather has some land in florida, and he would like help removing them so I was going to go hunting for the first time next time I visit. Would 308, 300blk, 556, 30-06, or 12ga. be better?
