How wet do you like to keep your guns?
>>32541541
just as wet as my women
>>32541541
If you love her, lube her.
>>32541541
pretty wet.
>mfw i get oil/residue stains on my white shirt while shooting
>why the fuck did i wear a white shirt to go shooting
this has happened more than a few times
>>32541568
What kind of gun is that
>>32541559
So, as dry as the Sahara?
Dirty and caked with black burnt carbon

I just realized, I haven't worn a white shirt in 2 years.
No plans on doing it, fuck whites.
>>32541541
Varies. The ARs like to be dripping wet. The Marlins like to be just wet enough. The Mossberg couldn't give a fuck less.
>>32541541
most of mine pretty normal, except my fucking Custom 2, that thing has to be drenched in oil or the carbon steel slide starts to rust immediately.
>>32541642
The kind that takes all your money
>>32541541
I'm going to be perfectly honest; I never lubricate my pistols. After I shoot my guns, I clean them with a bit of ballistol, but it can sometimes be months before I get around to firing a specific gun again. Nowhere in that time do I end up lubricating the pistols, and yet I've never had any issues.
>>32541541
Fucking why? Especially on something as rust resistant as a CZ. I apply a thin coat of oil after cleaning and then lightly wipe most of it off, just enough for the metal to soak up. On slide rails and trigger groups I use gear oil and as little as possible. After shooting oil gets contaminated with all kinds of crap and just becomes a medium to carry abrasive material and fouling.
I don't like when guns are so wet that they leak oil in their cases and all over my hands. Makes me so FUCKING ANGRY
FUCK
>>32541541
Idk as wet as it is outside I guess. River water works pretty well
I shoot boltguns, so I tend to lube the chamber more than the action. it helps with extraction.
pistols I also run wet except my Makarov, which has never been lubed and has never needed it
I keep my guns as well oiled as my cast iron cookware
>>32542272
Did you say rust resistance and CZ?
>>32542766
hopefully not with the same oil tho
>>32542779
sounds like your mom, except I wore that shit out
>>32542809
gun oil doesn't taste very good on hashbrowns
wet as fuck
a bottle of gun lube lasts me 4 cleanings
Dry. I only keep the trigger/hammer systems lightly lubed. Don't lube the slide at all.
>>32541541
Depends
Pistols, mostly dry. Rails and locking lugs are lightly greased.
Pump Shotgun? No.
Ar15? Pretty much everything is wet inside.
Pretty dry, will slather it in storage grease (1 part Vaseline 2 parts paraffin) if I'm going to be gone for a while because of school though incredibly paranoid about a flood and my guns rusting away.

Same, except for undershirts. I wear button ups or polos daily and go with blue or other colors when wearing a suit, since wearing a white dress shirt makes me feel like a waiter or something. The only exception is with a tux and I only wear those to weddings.
Does CLP work on your dick?
I carry a can of Rem Oil in my range bag and spray down my guns before use and sometimes during shooting, depending on how many round I am firing. It makes cleaning them easier and my Kimber 380 likes to stay wet.
I have found that the carbon buildup is much worse when dry/dryish and cleaning goes much better when I keep them wet. YMMV.
