Can anyone help me confirm that the Swiss military and/or military police officially issue and use this SP 2009?

Wikipedia can be very unreliable on this kind of detail however.

Reason I'm asking is I'd like to start an official gun collection, with "Swiss military small arms" as the theme.

If I am granted the collection permit, that would allow me to purchase select-fire items.

The amendment got passed to IMCO. From there it will go to the EU parliament pretty much unchanged. The amendment will most likely pass as only a simple majority is required. That's because FN has always been a massive arms dealer for many countries around the world.

In the case of Swiss Stgw rifles though, if the Swiss themselves can't get FA Stgw rifles, then there's pretty much no hope.
