This is the SIG Pro SP 2009.

Not the SPC 2009.
Not the SP2009-9-BMS.
Not the SP 2022.
Not the SPC 2022.

Can anyone help me confirm that the Swiss military and/or military police officially issue and use this SP 2009?

>>
>>32533786
According to the English wikipedia page, the SP 2009 is supposedly known as "Pistole 03" in the military.

Wikipedia can be very unreliable on this kind of detail however.
>>
Reason I'm asking is I'd like to start an official gun collection, with "Swiss military small arms" as the theme.

If I am granted the collection permit, that would allow me to purchase select-fire items.
>>
>>32533786
With the DEVA / WEA reform, infantry soldiers (generally combat units) will be equipped with the SP 2009. The new equipment (stgw, gun, camo, plate-carrier, etc) will arrive in 2018-2000.

Some one told me that the MP already has it.
>>
>>32533813
Nice.
Do you have any official press releases or something on this topic?
>>
>>32533802
*correction that would allow you to buy ONE, at a time then you need the next one and so on.
>>

You are a fucking idiot the Stgw90 has been prolonged till 2030.
>>
>>32533880

>>
Swissbros.

The EU is trying to pass insanely strict gun laws and ban many types of guns.

What's the update?
>>

>>32533933
Still trying to fuck us. Swiss will vote. Fuck the gun ban. Fuck the EU.

Plus stocks of Stgw90 are coming to an end.

Swiss?
A Sonderbewilligung is only the allowence to buy one item at a time.
>>
>>32533948
I work at the LBA. Also >Source that the stuff gets changed >>32533818 already asked.
>>
>>32533949
Nope, Belgian.

A collector's permit allows you to purchase as many FA items as you want, as long as they fit the approved theme, and only one per specific designation (for instance, one Stgw 90, one Stgw 04, ...).
>>
>>32533786
Well I'm in Basel right now for break and I saw a couple of regular cops carrying a pistol that looked a lot like it. Deff wasn't a regular P226, P228, SP 2022 or the like. Would wager it was some model of the 2009
>>
>>32533955
Ah. Interesting. I think we need that here. Ehat are the requirements.
>>
>>32533961
One thing I'm kind of worried about is whether full-auto Stgw rifles will find their way to Belgian gun stores.

Since I think I heard that even former militia members have to convert their service rifles to semi-auto only after their military service ends.
>>
>>32533972
F/A STGW would have to be required over either SIG (or subcompanys) or from stolen/lost ones. Else its pretty much not possible. Converting them back to F/A would be challenging.
>>
>>32533952
Have you any other interesting infos about new equipment, camo, etc ?

I want to buy a combat-shirt in TAZ90 for the WK. Is it worth it or are they changing the camo next year ?
>>
>>32533983
Are they easy to find for collectors in Switzerland?
>>
>>32533986
Officialy no.
>>
>>32533989
So even Swiss collectors can't officially acquire full auto Stgw rifles?
>>
>>32533984
Well the MP just recieved the Pistole 12 (Glock 17 if im right, or 19) and a taser (Destabilisierungsgerät) that looks like the gun from psycho pass dunked in yellow paint. As for clothing and gear i have no clue since thats not my job.
>>
>>32533993
It would be possible if they were sold but SIG did not bother selling them since, hurrdurr why do you need f/a and burst fire in the shootingrange we already gave you the semi auto version.
>>
>>32534012
SIG doesn't sell guns anymore. It's SAN SwissArms now.
>>
>>32534024

The amendment got passed to IMCO. From there it will go to the EU parliament pretty much unchanged. The amendment will most likely pass as only a simple majority is required. After that, what will happen is that the clowns and bootlickers that represent us in Bern will hurry to adapt Swiss gun laws. ProTell and the SVP might try to pass a referendum, that will probably pass, but it won't be enforced by the parliament as they judge Schengen more important than our own votes.

Actually, full-auto FN guns do reach the Belgian market, but not through FN or the Belgian military.
That's because FN has always been a massive arms dealer for many countries around the world.

In the case of Swiss Stgw rifles though, if the Swiss themselves can't get FA Stgw rifles, then there's pretty much no hope.

Right?

Or does anyone here know of Swiss people who own full-auto Stgw rifles?
>>
>>32534533
Absolutely.

If there's anything in there related to officially issued Swiss military firearms, doubly so.

Burning projectile
Its protected by isolation to prevent sparking the burning mass, due friction, in the barrel.

HEI
On impact against a hard target the fiting pin goes forewards due to inertia, igniting the explosive. The additional burning maass is located in the tip.

yes, as far as I know. All swiss made in the military. Every canton's police has their own issued sidearm, so that's a tougher call.

if they are military surplus, yes. Otherwise, SIG has moved their production facilities to Germany and it's become a big mess- This is all according to what I've heard, though, don't take it for granted.
