If I ever get another precision 5.56 AR it will be a 16" with a nice SS barrel and something like a keymod handguard.

The benefits of 18" over 16" are not all that significant and if I was really concerned with stretching out to the limit of 5.56 I would go for a 20+ inch bench gun.

1:7 will stabilize the heavy stuff a lot better then the 1:9 as well. Wolf Gold is nice and so is Privi. Check places like Aimsurplus or SGammo
