Should I order one of these for $300? Pros and cons?

That's $300 you can spend towards it's big brother the AK. If you're just starting out and don't have many, save the money and into AK, later when you've got enough pocket change you won't sweat $300 then pick one up to add to your collection.

If you're dead set on an SKS go norinco. CHROME LINED BARREL SON. Also you might get lucky and find an sks m or cowboy companions that take AK mags.

I have a Yugo M48 and all I've been able to do to it is constantly clean the rust off of it. Literally no other rifle I have does this.

I enjoy my yugo sks. 300 is a good price. It depends on what you want it for. I wanted a sks in my collection and it works for me. If you are hunting as another anon pointed out its heavy as sks's go. If you are going life and liberty AK has been mentioned by another anon as well.

You might as well order one, it's a very good rifle for a low price overall. 300 bucks is chump change to a lot of people.
It's heavier and longer than a 762x39 rifle has to be, that's my only real complaints on mine. Very minor stuff.
It's also very cozy feeling to carry/shoot and no long mag sticking out, it has a BHO when empty, and I love loading with stripper clips.(vz58 does it better though, and I like it better than my aks or sks when it comes to 762x39 rifles)
