I think the fence jumping was technique. Even a really heavy set guy could have made it over the first jump but you need to spring off the ground. Im not sure how much he work on squatting but it certainly isnt enough. If you watch some of the videos it looks like he lifts with his back and not his legs. Im putting that on technique.
