Steel cast is more easy to tell. It's too perfect looking. Don't let anyone tell you it's bad. They aren't a Rockwell tester. Their just dudes on the internet.

There's no way I'd be able to tell by serial, you'd have to ask DSA

For 850 it's hard to complain anyways, considering the price of most FALs. Worst that happens is you resell it for 900-1000 and put the money towards a nice Stg58
